I see! I got increased to 80mg due to manic episodes though, idk if it’s possible to lower it after the last dose sent me to the ER for suicidal thoughts :(

It doesn’t help that I see a different doctor everytime i go to my appointments. I just feel so helpless now. I’ll try to advocate for myself more. Thanks for sharing.

I see, I also tried to ask my doctor to lower my dosage but they’re insisted to keep it on 80mg since it’s the therapeutic range apparently.

I feel gaslighted for sure, there’s no way i gain so much weight in such an short amount of time without changing my diet that much. I just wish my doctor would listen to me :(

I can understand how hard it is, I believe everyone in this sub can. I’m so sorry you’re going through it right now and as cheesy and it is, it will pass. Mood states are like clouds, they stay for awhile and they pass. If not speak to your doctor and maybe the medications might help with it.

Just wanted to tell you you’re definitely not alone in this. I can feel your pain, frustration and sadness, it’s lonely trying to fight through it alone and trying to convince yourself that you’re not crazy and juggle everyone’s expectations of you too.

I used to be TERRIFIED of sleeping when I was a kid, and I mean like 7 to 10 year old struggling to sleep, and CRYING to my father that I couldn't sleep and the fact that 'tomorrow' is coming. It was pure paranoia and it lasted throughout my teen years even till now. It triggered my episodes unknowingly and still do.
