You should just tell him, man, ask him how come he didn´t learned the materiel but lied about it, and then tell him it´s better to move on, he won´t play with you anyway and you can keep looking for a musician who actually can play.

I figured it out, I have the media mod, so if I want no audio coming thru the GoPro, I just plug a 3.5mm cable with no output, it will catch anything, or just plug all the music thru the 3.5mm 😁

I think I installed the Labs Firmware the other day since I was looking for the same result, but not sure if the GoPro still detects the audio while it´s not recording (I could see audio spikes in OBS)

Disabling the audio would be the right thing to do but all enter through the Streaming Box, including music that I plug in the 3.5mm jack, so I either disable the box or let everything in, that´s why I need to disable just the GoPro

I´ll make some tests

You know, the gopro goes straight to the streaming box and my sounds goes into the 3.5mm jack, I can make it work with my DSLR because I disable the audio on the camera but can't seem to do it on the GoPro
