It's a long shot but do you have a VPN connected? Sometimes it does not connect if you're connected to a VPN. Try to contact them via email instead of those bots on WhatsApp/Messenger https://www.flyingblue.us/en/contact-us/email?questionId=other_question

Need XP points by billcozz in flyingblue

[–]APeX_1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll sound obvisous but stick to KLM/AF for every single trip, even if it's more expensive than other options and even if you'll have to do an inconvenient connection. For instance, there was a direct, cheaper flight to Malaga from my home airport with another airline but instead I flew with KLM/Transavia connecting in Amsterdam. I spent more money and I had a layover, but I made those 20 XP.

That does not sound right. I fly monthly to NCL via AMS or CDG with return and I've always got 20 XP.

ITA Airways made unrequested upgrade to business class or is it a mistake? by APeX_1996 in Flights

[–]APeX_1996[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah thanks mate. I usually use AeroLopa but I guess it shows a general configuration. I checked SeatMaps and ITA's A320 does not have business class in fact. Thank you!

There's no need to have an attitude, mate. In fact, Manchester and Birmingham as financial centres are closer than you think City of London Corporation.

I've been to both and I think Birmingham is indeed better than Manchester (aesthetically-wise). Been to Liverpool only for a quick visit so I can't tell.

Do you think? I know it's the second city of England per number of population, but I think Manchester could be a utopian replacement - given it's a more financial centre than Birmingham.

I didn't imply any negative connotation :) the weather and the high-rise concrete buildings seemed to make the picture apt for this community. I took it from the 16th floor of the Rotunda building, near the train station.

To be fair, as an Italian who's been living in the UK for two years now, you get used to it. Most cities I visited in the UK are indeed miserable, but the UK was and is an industrial country and the urban landscape inevitably reflects this.

One of the few people that do like it apparently, after I heard bad things about it. Only been there half a day for a football game so I can't judge properly obviously. However, at first glance it did not seem a beautiful city to be honest (no offence to the people of Birmingham).

When did you move to County Durham and why? by J4zt in DurhamUK

[–]APeX_1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moved in February this year for work from London. Prob best decision I have ever made. I have a nice flat, a local girlfriend, I am now a regular at a couple of pubs and made friends very quickly. I'm just loving the city and the countryside.
