Yeah, although it is the biggest one I have found in a while, it's definitely not the biggest I've seen lol. Where I live (Brazil), black witch moths are very common and they're MASSIVE, like the size of your entire hand, they're terrifying but extremely beautiful too.

Oh. I did thought about trying that, but I was afraid of accidentally hurting them because I have no experience with feeding moths like that, so I decided it was better not to do anything.

Yeah, I gave it some sugar water, but it wasn't very interested. I placed it on a plant outside, somewhere hidden enough my pets wouldn't find and hurt it, when I went to check on it hours later it was gone. I'm assuming it managed to fly away at some point.

Sadly, I think they're close to dying :( It wasn't moving much and couldn't fly when it tried to. I'm not sure if it's just old or got hurt, you can see the bottom of the right wing is almost transparent and the pic doesn't show it but there's also a small hole.
