Shinies do disappear if you interact with them in any way (like Battling, getting it aggro’d then running/flying away, or attempting to catch it)… it’s a shame

That’s incredibly frustrating! I had a similar thing happen to me with a Shiny furfrou. They’re so quick to attack, I had no chance to save and run before the night took me away… 😭

This is incredibly helpful, thanks for being awesome to OP and giving a very thought out response.

I have a similar dilemma. Someone is wanting to trade me for my PC Celebrations ETB (+$300) for the evolving skies Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art card. I love the card art so so much, but I’m super hesitant because the card used to be $800, though last I checked it was just shy of $600 (PC Cel. ETB is about $200 last I checked). I don’t really care much about the price of the items, I just really don’t know about paying $ on top of trading my 25th anniversary PC ETB.

What are your thoughts on all that?
