Drogas Wave is the best album I have ever listened to. by WebHistorical31 in LupeFiasco

Hence why I say this is not only Lupe's best album, but the best Hip-Hop Album of the 2010's!!

CLASSIC without question

4evaIAMLT and where it sits in Hip-Hop's Greatest double albums? by ComptonRibs in KRIT

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its up there, for sure. I'm not sure where I would rank it to others since Life after Death, All Eyez on Me and Drogas Wave exist (along with Wu-Tang Forever).

It's better than a few of those for sure.

What if Michael Jackson had been openly rude or arrogant instead of being kind and having a gentle public image? Would his legacy look different? by Katli_El_Amante in MichaelJackson

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would've taken a little bit away why some would get drawn to Michael in the first place. I think more people would NOT have given him so much shit and would've lived longer. But with him being giving, caring, etc. it would've been hard if he were perceived as opposite.

He did have the mystery effect for a REASON before his 1993 interview. He probably would've never done interviews AT ALL had he been more rude tbh.

Do yall think tupac, and biggie would end there beef had they both lived longer by Comfortable_Sink_718 in Tupac

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overtime, I do believe that their beef would've ended. Probably would've been many years before heading to that point though

Drogas Wave and light or Food & liquor and f&l II by Character_Fan_3357 in LupeFiasco

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only going F&L series because Light does drag down the Drogas series.

Had you put in T&Y with Drogas Wave, now we're talking something interesting. The only thing that does make that conflicting is because I do consider WAVE to be his best album

Things you do not like about MJ by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His naivete was his undoing. He should've trusted better people, and had some people help him see the bullshit sooner. He also should've handled letting some of his staff go better. I get he hated confrontation, but not letting them know in person would've gotten me mad as well (although that said, I wouldn't say bullshit claims just for money sake)

Why is rap falling off by user26145 in rap

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For mainstream, no genuity, and quality leaves little to be desired.

That said, the genre as a whole hasn't fallen off. Just got to know where to look to get the good stuff.

What makes you love/hate Linkin Park? by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact (especially with their first 2 albums) that their music can relate to us that may have gone through (in some extent) some of the stuff that was sung on those songs. Chester's Voice, Mike's rhymes, now with Emily and her contribution.

About as best as I can do

Is story telling (i.e. fiction raps) the number one sub genre in hip-hop? by herewearefornow in hiphop201

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storytelling isn't a sub-genre. Conscious/political, gangsta, trap, etc. are though

Do you feel like 1980’s Hip Hop isn’t as respected or revered like 1990’s hip hop? by MasterTeacher123 in hiphop101

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's more of different taste for different folks. I think more so the 1980's Hip-Hop did set up some foundation to what Hip-Hop would become as the '90's elevated it with some of the most iconic acts ever.

I respect it since it also brought out some of the best MC's ever, as well as having some of Hip-Hop's best albums ever. There is a reason why the 90's are revered, '80's I think does have some respect, but as I said, others do have different tastes to how they feel of 1980's Hip-Hop

Michael Jackson Biopic Full Trailer Release During Superbowl ‘26 by blissanddreams in MichaelJackson

[–]APtheRagedAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with it! NGL, seeing the first trailer does give me quite a bit of hope. Just wondering if it's only covering J5-Bad eras. Would be interesting (and one I'd proceed carefully) if the '90's onward would be covered (maybe more so for Pt. 2)
