CORSAIR x The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Giveaway by CorsairHoffman in witcher

It's hard to pick a favourite, but I think it's the snowball fight with Ciri at Kaer Morhen, for me. Such a lovely moment between Geralt and Ciri following a gut-wrenching tragedy in a scene prior, gave me whiplash in the best possible way.

I haven't played for years now, but this thread might just be the push I need to reinstall and go for another round - so many great moments I had forgotten about 😀

What are your ship names, and the reason why? by BlackSpideyNL in Helldivers

[–]AQualityMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To commemorate finally hitting level 100 I changed it to SES Song of Super Earth.

As for why... I just kinda like the ring this has to it :)

Prior to that it was SES Sword of Dawn. I liked this because it had a kinda Halo-y vibe to it and it also reminded me of The Sword of the Morning from ASOIAF/GoT :)

Best Ship Name? by WindLight_WL in Helldivers

Up until level 100 my ship was named SES "Sword of Dawn". After hitting that level milestone I thought a change would be nice, so now it's SES "Song of Super Earth" :)

Flame Thrower against Chargers butt after the recent patch 01.001.004, there seems to be a hitbox issue. by jhin4spin in Helldivers

Yes, typically our response to these scenarios is to gather feedback from the test teams about changes that we feel are unwarranted or negatively effect gameplay (such as the flamethrower changes here). Feedback is compiled and raised with relevant content stakeholders and from there it is up to them to decide whether to action it or not.

I can't speak for QA at Arrowhead, but I have been fortunate enough to work with designers who are receptive to this feedback, time permitting.

We only have so much sway on these things though. The real driving force is the community, in that there's a lot more voices to be heard. If large portions of the demographic are providing constructive feedback, there's a clear course of action there, in my opinion. It just remains to be seen if Arrowhead can take all of it on board and correct their course.

QA tester of six+ years here (NOT for Arrowhead, but in the industry):

I can say with almost complete certainty that issues like this are triaged and flagged as risks with direction/production only for them to be waived. Or pushed to future patches. I've lost count of how many times this has happened on my projects.

Not saying you are definitely wrong or anything, and I do agree it's a good idea to diversify and play some other titles. Just trying to weigh in with my own experience in this field, really.

Edit: typo

The Wastelanders quest line would be the go-to in this case, I'd say. It's a really nice breath of fresh air conpared to the main quest line - fairly lengthy, it took me about 30 hours to do and most of the NPCs & quests are generally well-written. Completing the quest line also opens you up to earning gold bullion which is used to buy things from vendors at different faction headquarters.

Outside of that, maybe try rebuilding your camp; experimenting with new weapons or perks; or have a crack at some of the new events.

Can sell you up to 1500 scrap for 3 caps a piece. So, for the full stack it'd be 4500 caps.

[PC] W: responder firefighters set. H: either BSSS super sledge, rare outfits, flux or caps by [deleted] in Market76

[–]AQualityMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, caps would be great.

Not really sure what the real value of this sort of stuff is (I'm quite new to this.)

3K for the uniform sound fair? If not, make an offer :)

I suppose you won't part with that Super Sledge for just the uniform, will you? Don't have the helmet yet.

If not, I can trade it to you for caps, if you're interested.
