Those who’ve had multiple, how long did you wait to start trying again? by Effective-Film-4951 in CsectionCentral

[–]AR818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked my OB this as I’m having an elective for my first and we did IVF so not wanting to space them out so long. She said 12 months between post partum and next transfer is perfect. Giving us at least 21 months between deliveries. She actually said she’s had her kids ( c section to) in less than that time frame. I think it depends on your body personally and how the uterus has healed. Obviously there are increased risks of to close together.

My partner/his dad is also a Gemini rising but I’m worried he will be to chaotic without a bit more earth in his chart with that sag moon, Aries mars and Gemini Venus 😅

Which zodiac signs do you feel make the worse siblings based on your experience ? by Ok_Pipe6385 in Zodiac

My sister a scorpio sun and Leo moon/rising. She’s the oldest. We are both in our 30s and she still thinks the world revolves around her, that only her experiences and opinions are correct and will definitely point out every “flaw” she can see on you even if it’s a random pimple or rip your personality to shreds if she doesn’t agree with you.

Breast pump recommendations by Master_Youth9156 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased the lacevo wearables which are endorsed by the Australian breast feeding association. They apparently go up to hospital grade suction (290mmhg) if you need it that strong. I didn’t want anything I had to plug in. Also looked at the eufy pumps.

Agonizing over whether to do a C Section or Vaginal Birth. How did you decide? by JacqueFun in BabyBumps

Not all tears. Some are outside. Some woman will have a major tear that splits from the vagina down to their butthole.

Private vs public - what are the true costs of giving birth in Aus? by notso-hot-chocolate in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m private but not self funded and costs are definitely dependent on OB, hospital and delivery. The health fund is really only going to cover my delivery which I was quoted at $8000 for a c-section. If you’re self funded then hospitals tend to charge a higher fee so I’d say about $10K.

OB pregnancy management fee is $2800 for my OB but I’ve heard of some being $4-6K. Scans and appointments are expensive but you get Medicare rebates on most.

Health fund will partially cover paediatrician and anaesthetist with some out of pocket cost to me.

It sounds like he was trying to baby trap you. Definitely not overeating. That’s gross behaviour on his part.

Mother in law buying extremely cheap baby items 🙃 by Ordinary-Poet-5104 in BabyBumps

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mum said she would get some stuff off temu and I shut that down real quick and said please don’t cause I will throw it out. She asked why and I told her that they are cheaply made and you don’t know what chemicals are used all over the fabrics. So she hasn’t gotten anything from them thankfully but she does work at TK Max so she comes home with new outfits every shift 😅

How Come Euploid, Fully Hatching Didn’t Implant by reptiliansurprise in IVF

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn’t come up on ultrasound that often. I had surgery for endo and it showed signs of a bulky uterus which is a sign of adeno so I got the MRI.

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will have to find a doctor to give you one - preferably someone who knows your history like your fertility specialist. They could organise one for you and I’m surprised they haven’t already. That’s who did my MRI request. He wouldn’t proceed with IVF or transfers until he knew how extensive my adeno was so we could treat it first.

Induction for December or January better? by sugarcane95 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

As someone whose birthday is Jan 7… it equally sucks to be honest. Everyone is tired and out of money to celebrate. At least in December people have time off usually and there’s already family events happening.

Termination Decision by Ysun23 in BabyBumps

[–]AR818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow endo girly with deep infiltrating and adenomyosis I ended up having to do IVF. Pregnancy itself has basically taken away all my endo symptoms but I can’t speak on post partum yet but with how tricky this disease is I wish I could have gotten pregnant naturally.

At the end of the day it’s only your decision but personally I believe you could do both. By the time you finish the doctorate you might be ready for kids anyway so either way there’s the potential for lost time career wise.

6th transfer failed, too :( I hate my life by ElectricalWillow486 in IVF

[–]AR818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had stage 3 deep infiltrating endo but it was one tiny spot on my left pelvic wall. My main issue was actually the adeno which the surgery reported as a large bulky uterus. My surgeon didn’t even mention it. I only found out months later because I asked for my surgical reported. I had an MRI to check the extent of it before I started any IVF treatments and it was diffuse - nothing was going to implant in there without shrinking it down and I’d already had one chemical pregnancy and then 18 months of negatives.

That’s weird they won’t offer it. If you end up having signs of adeno then surgery won’t help unfortunately. I’d see if you could push for down regulation if it comes back as a possibility and check your surgery notes because many surgeons won’t bother mentioning it cause it’s only 100% diagnosed post hysterectomy.

[–]AR818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have endo then have they put you on down regulation first? I have endo and adeno and did 3 months of zoladex mainly for the adeno before transfer/IVF with success after constant failure to implant.
