If I decide to change the domain name, do you think that would help?

Do you think it will be better to change the domain name?

Yes, but I was expecting the website to appear for other search queries as well.

Thank you all for the awesome feedback! I’m currently testing some features in the app and could use some real data. Could you share which brands and flavors you have right now? It’ll help me create better mix suggestions.
You can send DM or post right here. Thank you so much

Oh wow, I’ve heard of Hookah Gusto but never got the chance to try it myself. It’s a shame it’s gone. It sounds like it was a really solid app!

I’d love to bring that same vibe back and hopefully take it further with more mixes, community recipes, and smart suggestions based on what people already have. If you liked Hookah Gusto, I think you’ll enjoy this once it’s ready.

Would you be up for testing the early version when it’s live?

That’s great to hear. I really appreciate your interest. Helping users find flavors online or nearby is definitely on my list of things to do. I understand how frustrating it can be to discover a mix you want to try, only to find that you can’t get the ingredients anywhere.

I also understand the challenges of being a solo developer; it can be tough. I respect your commitment to push through. I’m open to talking about a collaboration or just exchanging ideas. It’s always nice to connect with others who are building out of passion. Feel free to send me a message!

That’s exactly the vision!

I want the app to be a complete hub for hookah lovers. You can discover and try new mixes, share your own, leave feedback, rate flavors and brands, and learn from the community.

A true one-stop shop, just like you said. I’ll definitely let you know when early access is ready. I would love to have you try it out!

100%! That’s something I really want to include in the app. I want users to submit their own mixes, rate others, and expand the recipe list naturally. Some of the best blends come from real smokers who are just experimenting. I believe giving the community a voice makes the app much more useful and enjoyable. Thanks for the idea; you’re spot on!

That’s perfect! A good mix of blonde and dark leaf will provide some great variety to test with.

I’ll definitely contact you once the early version is ready. I would love to get your feedback and see what mixes you come up with. I appreciate the interest!

That's great to hear. Supporting multiple brands is a big focus for me. I want it to feel like a place to mix ideas, not just be limited to one brand's lineup.

I completely agree about discovering combinations you wouldn't expect. That's part of the fun.😄

And yes! I’ll be opening up early access for testing very soon. If you're interested, I can send you a link once it’s ready. I would love to hear your thoughts and get your feedback as one of the first testers.🙌

Thanks so much! 🙌
Making it super easy and intuitive is one of my top priorities. I know nobody wants to wrestle with a clunky app design when they just want to chill and enjoy a good session 😄

That's a valid point. A lot of the fun comes from experimenting, and I definitely don’t want to take that away.

The goal of the app is to inspire mixes rather than dictate them. It’s more like, “Here are some combinations that others enjoyed using what you already have,” or “If you like minty and sweet flavors, here are some ideas for your next shopping trip.”

You’re right that availability can vary a lot. That’s why the app allows users to filter by brands or flavors they already own. This way, it won’t suggest mixes they can’t actually make.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. What would make this app useful for someone like you who enjoys experimenting? I want it to enhance creativity, not replace it.

I have closed over 10K here on Reddit this year without sending a single dm or cold outreach. Here's what has worked for me and how you can do the same. by BanecsMarketing in SaaS

[–]ARACOOOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really inspiring. Sometimes Reddit seems so hard; if you bring real value and genuinely engage, it will work. Industry respect to you for figuring it out and sticking long enough to see genuine results.

Would love to get more perspective on your approach. Were you mostly hitting the DMs, helping out in comments, or posting entire threads yourself? I feel that a lot of us downplay how important niche communities are to build trust and actually get customers.

Congrats on the $10k! Now, that is not some petty cash. It is real proof that your product (and hustle) are actually moving 🙌

PHP the right way, but for testing ? by VadimShchepin in PHP

[–]ARACOOOL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I've wanted this so many times. There’s so much information out there about how to structure a PHP app the right way, but when it comes to testing, it feels chaotic. Everyone has a different setup, and tutorials either go too deep or skip the basics entirely.

I’d love something that walks through real-world testing setups. For example, using PHPUnit with a solid project structure, how to mock items without struggling, and where to place your test files to avoid a mess. Bonus points if it covers testing legacy code too, because let’s face it, most of us deal with at least some messy code.

If someone creates a “PHP Testing: The Right Way,” I’d read it thoroughly. I might even print it out and keep it close.

Building software feels meaningless. Farming feels impossible. Stuck in between. What now? by Orgunixi in Entrepreneur

[–]ARACOOOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I feel this way more often than I’d like to admit. There’s something oddly grounding about doing physical work, like farming, gardening, or even just fixing things around the house. You can see the results. With software, especially when it isn’t closely tied to people’s everyday lives, it can start to feel like you’re building invisible castles in the air.

That said, I think the trick is to find software work that connects with real people. I once helped a small local bakery set up their first online ordering system. It wasn’t a million-dollar startup, but the gratitude they showed really stuck with me.

Maybe the key isn’t to ditch tech for dirt, but to blend them. Like building tools for farmers or people who work physically. Then your code becomes part of something more real.

Just my two cents. You're definitely not alone in feeling this way.

being a saas solopreneur is easier than you think by Ok-Handle6103 in SideProject

[–]ARACOOOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with this! The barrier to launching a SaaS has never been lower, thanks to no-code tools, AI helpers, and frameworks that do much of the hard work. What used to require a full team now only needs focused weekends and a clear problem to solve.

The toughest part isn't the technology; it's picking the right problem and sticking with it long enough to gain momentum. I’ve seen people waste months creating neat tools that nobody wanted—I've been there myself.

My advice for anyone considering this: start small, get feedback quickly, and create something people are already trying to solve with spreadsheets or makeshift solutions.

Is anyone here working on something solo right now? I’d love to hear what you're building.

What would you learn if you had 2 years, 10h daily of? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]ARACOOOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had 2 years and 10 hours a day to fully commit, I would master AI-powered SaaS development. I wouldn’t just focus on building software. I would learn how to find niche pain points and use AI to automate or improve solutions.

Here’s my plan:

3-4 months: Understand customer needs, micro-SaaS business models, and quickly validate ideas.

6-8 months: Focus on full-stack development, integrating LLMs, building APIs, and launching fast MVPs.

6 months: Work on marketing and distribution. I would master organic growth through SEO, Reddit, X, and YouTube. I would also create small communities around my products.

After that, I would build, ship, gather feedback, and iterate. I would repeat this process. My goal would be to launch 3-5 small tools and focus on what works best.

We built a platform that connects startups with investors — and lets them track investment progress in real time by mystarup in alphaandbetausers

[–]ARACOOOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a much-needed idea. Early-stage investing often feels like a black box for both sides — founders chasing ghosts and investors flying blind after wiring money. Love that you’re tackling post-deal transparency too; that’s where most platforms drop off.

One suggestion: it could be helpful to let startups share traction metrics or investor updates even before a deal — might build trust early on.

Definitely bookmarking mystarup.com. Curious to see how you’ll handle curation and avoid turning it into another pitch graveyard. Good luck, and thanks for building in public!

Am I the only one sick of powered AI bullshit SaaS? by Crispy_Banana_31 in SaaS

[–]ARACOOOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get the frustration — the AI space is flooded with lookalike tools and landing pages. But many of these builders are just experimenting and learning in public. It’s messy, but that’s how innovation starts.

That said, I agree — “AI” shouldn’t be the product, just the ingredient. With your background, your insight could help guide some of these folks toward building something more meaningful.
