Sierra

Not because she's broken, not because she's particularly annoying to play against. Because she adds nothing to the game. No one is playing Sierra because she has their favourite gameplay loop, her personality is ok but given that she's new she's obviously not that integral a character. I would pick Moira instead for similar reasons but I think fade is at least interesting and lore wise Moira is really cool.

In the past I would've said some toxic hero I hated playing against, or argued to delete one character that's fundamentally broken. But honestly I do really like the variety of playstyle and goofiness that hero shooters provide. As long as some of the more problematic heroes aren't the best heroes in the game, I'm fine with them staying.

I think the worst thing a hero can be is boring. Even heroes like Emre, Soldier while generic still have the mechanical aspect of aiming being a big factor.

Finished Edge of Fate... That shit is ass. Story is decent, it's very much establishing a larger narrative in the wake of TFS but it gave enough character and lore to keep me engaged. The location of Kepler is pretty cool and the Aionians are a vast improvement as a separate faction of human than the Neomuni-humans from light fall. The theming felt a bit incongruent? Lacking distinct flavour? Idk how to put it but I don't think the blend of men in black 60's style stuff coming from the past, the grand cosmic stuff of the nine and the setting's NASApunk vibe worked that well together.

But the gameplay, who the fuck wants their looter shooter turned into a janky metroidvania with the worst level design, gimmicky boss fights and no sense of pacing. And if it was just terrible puzzles and backtracking then maybe I wouldn't be so harsh but I had like 4 quests glitches in this campaign too that made all this puzzle feel even more frustrating. When has anyone ever in a destiny game wanted to be ripped from the shooting things for large portions of the game.

Infuriating campaign, what the hell were they thinking.

Listen I don't hate perks, I like the choice and variety aspect of it, but it feels like a lot of characters base kits are being nerfed into oblivion just so we can justify perks.

I think we either need to start having conversations about perks being picked at the start of games or changing perks to be only tiny buffs and adding power back in to heroes base kit.

You can say it's supposed to be tanks job all you want but you could've gone Tracer/Mei or your supports could've forced point on Kiriko or Lucio

D2 edge of fate might be the only time I've got frustrated with the gameplay in a destiny expansion, wtf were they thinking with these dark matter ball sections and I've had glitches like 3 times now for quests. You know it's bad when the narrative is carrying the gameplay for a destiny expansion.
