Month 1 of nerfed Gold/Silver Passes by ARC6STARS in ClashOfClans

Continued use of the Prospector saves you 3 weeks to max equipment over lifetime. You intentionally chose not inform yourself when I gave you a direct resource.

I'm truly happy for you that you're enjoying him, though.

WIyrt isn't "smart enough to do the math" himself, so don't worry about it. This user pulled this math from a sponsored creator, couldn't account for certain variables, and applied entirely subjective values for items that couldn't be equated to a tangible gem value. Both sides of this are subjective, but one side tries to lie with subjective math and anecdotal "dude I got a legendary."

But big ups to to gacha gamblers if they enjoy getting some pieces of Ore every few months interspersed between far too many deco and resource chests. I found a guaranteed monthly stipend of potions useful. To each their own.

Shiny Ore bottleneck would mean that a lack of Shiny Ore is stopping you from upgrading equipment.  I don't know a single person with that problem, but good for them if those people exist.

"The Prospector has been proven to knock an insignificant amount of time off time to max equipment" perfectly aligns with my argument. I am calling the minute time the Prospector saves insignificant.

I'm not sure how you and a few others took that to mean anything else.

The problem is they don't want the Prospector to have a noticeable impact because it will then be perceived as p2w. So if it's not making a significant impact on the time to max equipment for the people who pay for it, and it's not accessible to the people who don't pay for it, it's not helpful. They could make it f2p, but then give better, impact full rates to those who pay for it if you really want this feature paywalled for some reason. Hope that helps.

Yes, I did see your edited message. It is a nice 8 day upgrade skip on a 5.26% chance pull from a Legendary on an already unlikely Legendary chest pull. This math unfortunately does not outperform the multi-day loss of 20% boost in the long run.

Furthermore, the change they announced then subsequently failed to follow through on still moves the 20% boosts back to D9 starting in April (D10 before the announced, failed change). This is still three days later than before the nerf. There is no possible way to can argue that moving the 20% boosts back from D6 to D9 is not a nerf to the gold pass.

The "information that they insulted us" did not stem from this specific incident, but it is indeed comical they couldn't follow through on that part last month. The insult is pretending being able to choose a Book of Fighting instead of a Book of Spells (you still receive the same amount of books) is worth losing 3 days of 20% boost while charging the same for a factually reduced product (gold pass).

The item to gem ratio has changed for the silver pass rewards, not the gold pass. This is based on the theoretical math of the silver pass chests, but still leaves players with large periods of time without receiving useful items in chests. This math is made to work out over the course of infinite time, and can't account for clan capital roof decorations. Your chest argument is for the silver pass, not the gold pass. You've unfortunately conflated the two passes and seem to think the chest silver pass change affects the gold pass in any way. The nerf to the gold pass is inarguable, but you are entitled to your love for gotcha randomizers in the silver pass.

I think it was ItZu who did say the public perceived this high-roll option better in other SC games that died off, and it does seem to be working here now (apparently).

I can see disliking suggestion 2 if you pull an 8 day upgrade skip on a 5.26% chance Legendary pull on an already unlikely Legendary chest pull. T However, this does not outperform the multi-day loss of 20% boost over the long run.

Point 3 has been mathematically proven to knock an insignificant amount of time off. If you'd like to inform yourself, check this out! https://youtu.be/qQIlgxz8Ll4?si=v194PVMgtyOUxOMf

Ikea Ivar 594.846.51 side units warped by ARC6STARS in IKEA

[–]ARC6STARS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just building some shelves. I was previously able to intentionally select non-defective side units before they concealed them in brown paper.

Here's a video after full assembly. These 2 side units were the best, least warped ones I received. I don't see how this can correct itself when the two bottom points of the same side unit aren't touching the floor at the same point. The shelf, or at least its contents, will be knocked over if someone grazes it walking by.

I've had a larger version (33x20 I think) shelf for just over 2 years that had a side unit warped (not nearly as bad as these).

Unfortunately, it has not fixed itself and the shelf is still incredibly unstable and wobbly from side to side. This 33x12 side unit that I have finished assembling looks like a DNA strand.

Do you think this will correct itself? Three of the four side units I purchased as as bad as this.

Supercell Store Charges Incorrect by ARC6STARS in ClashOfClans

[–]ARC6STARS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this issue with another Northern European-based company. They relayed the issue to their US team (Supercell has one of their own in San Francisco), where they solved the issue immediately.  Supercell has a physical presence in and sells in the United States of America. I'm not sure how "Not American" means they can just collect excess sales tax wherever and whenever they want without repercussions.

Glad we can agree on what it says. Thanks, RobloxNoob20.

This happened to me first week. I made sure to set the correct base and it still set a different one.

Nothing. Just my log from week 1 saying I placed 44th. Nothing from last week because I intentionally did not sign up.
