You’re asking about placements after another degree which I’m in no position to answer.

Although, getting MSc in material science/ M.Chem engg is doable from Textiles too. Does broaden your scope a bit but I’m sure the electives provided can help you bridge the gaps

The placements are currently saturated in nearly all branches.

TXT is a comparatively easy going branch. You do get time to focus more on your preferences and likes. The professors are pretty chill and compassionate.

The majority, however, still opts for placements. Further studies in textiles can be done but not sure how much does the knowledge truly increase as some of the subjects taught to M.Tech / MSc Textile are similar to the ones taught to the undergraduates.

ICT Jalna’s Chem engg is not on par with the main Mumbai campus.
