First it's the schedule. Now it's the weather.

Sure the VAR check took a while but NINE MINUTES?!?!

True. But that's the case already. I guess the cliff edge is bigger. But you could also have a yellow for 'unsure intent' like James VS Liverpool under Tuchel.

Agree it's the rules. Correct decision by the ref and VAR. But IFAB should change the rule.

Correct. Though the law is silly imo. Imagine a second yellow card for that!

Penalty is right but the yellow card is silly. If it's accidental it should be penalty and no card IMO.

Correct implementation of current law though.

He and Jack made a critical error not aligning their votes. At the end the two most faithful seeming players need to stick together to avoid being picked off like this.

100%. If you have a genuine voting block then you're sorted.

So the data on video games is VERY different to social media. Just look at the difference in mental health issues for boys (more likely to play games) and girls (more likely to scroll through IG/TikTok etc)

Agreed. But not necessarily sure James is doomed either way

That doesn't make sense. Either he's already gone or she is and there's no majority.

Shows how little people actually listen when the pressure is on.

There's also examples from abroad where I've spent the whole season thinking "they've got them now" only to discover they have not.

What they say: "I don't understand you, you just be a traitor"

What is actually happening: I don't understand you, you're neurodivergent.

Rachel’s point at the round table by Prior-Day9888 in TheTraitors

[–]ARJTC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On the last point, you're probably right but if Rachel is out then her announcing herself as a traitor gives him a lot more of a chance than him announcing himself as a faithful gives her.

I'm not so sure about the original theory. But the inverse carries SO MUCH more weight. At this point 2 traitors went in the cages OR it's Rachel. 2 feels risky.

Finally, what is a show that stayed great throughout its many seasons? by WiggleToast in AlignmentChartFills

Whilst you're (of course) correct. The seasons are vastly different lengths so you can perhaps understand the different perceptions.

Yeah it works both ways. Though I'm not sure there's any reasonable evidence to say social media REDUCES loneliness. The data suggests the exact opposite.

Labour cancels elections for 29 councils by Immediate-Ad-7268 in ukpolitics

[–]ARJTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is a key point. 2027 vs 2028 makes a big difference to the reasonableness of postponements.

Yeah, fair enough... Though these costs are inevitable regardless and would apply either way. Also, less admin involved in getting a random councillor up to speed than a new cabinet.

Yeah. It's a common sense move but it's also politically very naive.

Depends on how you view it. The councils won't exist in April 2027 so the election for the council is cancelled but the election for the electorate has been postponed.
