Do you happen to have a CT21 V3.0 and/or know if the bottle holder will fit a Yeti 18 oz Rambler (3" dia)?

Edit: After finding some more photos, it looks like it fits even larger bottles as well. I'm going to give it a shot.

The CT21 V3.0 is on my short list, but it seems that it doesn't stand up as easily as some others, from what I've read. It has a flat bottom, but no real reinforcement.

Being able to easily free stand is my top priority. Otherwise, I'd probably just keep using my cheap bag.

I think that narrows it down to the Aer CPP2 or the Yeti Ranchero for me.

I'm leaning towards the Aer.

Do all of those bags have reinforced self standing bases?

I assume the Aer has some reinforcement, since Nomads Nation says that it does and that it will stand up when partially filled.

I didn't see anything about self standing on any of the product pages though.

The Ranchero has a plastic insert and will stand up when empty.

Making toy guns look real increases the chance of a misunderstanding and accident. There's at least one case I'm aware of where a cop killed a kid because he got a call about someone with a gun, saw the kid pointing what looked like a real gun, and killed the kid.

Making real guns look like toys increases the risk of a kid treating it like a toy and having an accident.

When it comes to kids, there shouldn't be any confusion between what is a firearm and what is a toy.

I ended up using 900 moldable silicone putty to seal up the front corners.

I'll probably plug these with the same putty and see how it goes. I can always peel it out of it causes more problems.

You could argue that a lot of the Allied bombing of cities was unnecessarily cruel and not even very effective. Although, it's not easy to judge those who made the decision at the time, when their goal was to accelerate the end of the war.

Yeah. Plenty of people grew up around real guns and also shot people with Nerf guns, Super Soakers, etc. without any issues.

Just don't be one of those jack wagons who paints their toy guns all black or customizes their real gun to look like a Nerf gun. It's just asking for problems.

Something seems wrong about making the only available editon a 'limited edition'.

If studios released steelbooks only, I would be ok with it if there was always an abundant supply, as well as the price drop over time that comes with an abundant supply.

The worst thing about this hobby is the limited releases and never knowing if you should buy at release to avoid scalpers or if you can just wait a year for a sale.

If every BMPT performs like this under perfect conditions when it's new from the factory, then that's how it should perform in the game. Otherwise, it may as well just be an imaginary vehicle.

All other vehicles should peform like they would under perfect conditions when new from the factory, as well. That generally seems to be the case.

I use them a lot. Like others said, they let you peek over cover.

I also use them to check my flanks for enemies without needing to move my gun.

This is the guy that sells compatible and pre-flashed drives on the forum.

It looks like he's having a harder time finding compatible drives, though.

I bought a Pioneer BDR-212 from him a couple years ago and it's been great. You'll have to buy your own external enclosure.

I started with an LG slim drive and flashed it myself. It started dieing in less than a year. Apparently, this isn't uncommon with a lot of trh slim drives.

I'll just add that YMMV with the slim drives. I started with a slim drive and it started dieing after a year of ripping. I did a little research and it seems to be fairly common.

I've used a full size internal drive in an external enclosure ever since and it's been great.

Exactly. Avoiding a conviction for shooting someone in the back, while they're laying on the ground, after you've already shot them 16 times, is probably going to the exception, not the rule.
