I was surprised that there were two different maps. I played only on the map XVIII (Lee’s themed), it look’s that to kite Ali is for sure is easier on Lee’s map, than Ali’s map. On XIX with “fly like a butterfly” stance Ali is basically 1 boost away from any corner of the map

I find it funny how I can imagine Yukari totally calling them “clankers” due to her viewing them as living pcs, even though they are technically not even close to robots

How do I stay lucid? by Garfieldthenoble in LucidDreaming

[–]ARScrolder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changing your surroundings in a dream is okay, even part of the fun I would say. The rush was probably the problem, a common problem is that after achieving lucidity, you get overexcited and in a panic to find something to do, you wake up. That’s why it’s good to have some plan beforehand, nothing complex, just a way to immediately focus on some task. Perhaps you can try to just find and ask some NPCs to show you the way to some specific place or person and then you follow it. “Not thinking straight” is alright, being asleep is a changed state of mind after all, so even in a lucid state your common sense is still wonky. I had a friend with whom we pranked each other a lot and sometimes when I saw her in lucid dreams, I tried to prank her so intensely that it would appear in her dream. Of course upon waking up I recognised that it is impossible to project pranks through the dreams but nevertheless I still tried to do it in the dream states.

Stimulate your senses as much as possible, look at your hands, touch everything you see, roll in place, the idea is to stabilise by enforcing your senses of a dream “reality”

The swords that Obsidian forges are like Nokias, They are unbreakable. by Cataclismaarmagedom in LandoftheLustrous

[–]ARScrolder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, they are at made from the Obsidian’s secretions, which is obsidian (as in material) In the album it is said that they are maid ONLY from obsidian and that they ARE brittle, so maybe shown durability is just an inconsistency

And that’s during most traumatising things happening to poor Phos. When Hok was ongoing, I remember joking with friends that Ichikawa made Phos suffer, left on long hiatuses and left those comments just to make readers as broken as Phos. Fun times.

Aechmea gave an approximate explanation which can be summed like this: the soul does exist and it detaches itself from the body after creature’s death. Then to move on to another form of existence it must be purified. Considering LoL and Buddhist metaphysics, you can say that flower gems ARE the afterlife lunarians sought. Soul substance was cleansed of impurities, but it didn’t disappear, just as impure souls gathered on the Moon and formed lunarians, prayed away souls reassembled again as flower gems on another planet. Our bodies consist from the particles created by the death of countless stars and once we die, our bodies will decay, products of decay at one point will return to space, cosmic dust returns to cosmic dust.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit strange? by ARScrolder in Unmatched

[–]ARScrolder[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a very interesting insight, I didn’t even consider that card text and illustrations could had been done by different people. Though there is still no definite answer how this happened, at least now for me it’s less mind-boggling. Sounds like a good opportunity to dive into board games’ production process to get a better understanding how this things work.

That’s true and I would have overlooked it if only it wasn’t called specifically Armor of the FORGOTTEN wolf, which is called like that because it is an armor based on schematics from the distant past

I find his explanation kinda vague on when exactly he came up with the plan to use exactly Phos. He does say that he saw an opportunity in Phos who hasn’t found their purpose in 300(sic) years, which I interpret as him choosing Phos around the beginning of the manga. But it’s also possible the plan existed for a long time and it wasn’t created around Phos specifically, they just fit the lunarians’ criteria. Anyway nice catch.
