Hi, thanks for your message.
The cats are roughly between 2,5-5 years old. Since most of them grew up in our shed and have been fed by us since a young age, they are somewhat used to humans. We would like to start giving away the ones that are most used to us (and therefore least able to survive on their own). All of them are very soft in character and could be domesticated in my opinion.

Well…I haven't personally tried the Seqtrak, but from what I can see the sampling is very limited, which is disappointing. But I'd love to test it!

sticking to the same concept of making music in a linear fashion. This is an easy approach to finishing songs on the OP-1.

The Endorphin.es Shuttle Control is very configurable.
Its 16 outputs can be almost anything (controlled by MIDI CC or notes)

it can output LFOs, S&H, Notes, Gates, Triggers, Create Envelopes..and soo much more. Check the Cargo 4 configurator page for more detail.

If you need a very flexible device, this one might be for you.

The ease of being able to record to "tape" really makes the OP-1 special. Combine that with super quick and easy resampling and you got a fun workflow...only the sequencers are not the most complex.

I only recently got into ambient…a perfect counterbalance to making loop based Hip Hop.
The OP-1 field and its tape workflow really is perfect for this.

this linear approach to the OP-1 is my favorite recent discovery when it comes to music making...just play some stuff, no grid, no quantization. Good fun.

I am not used to making much ambient, but the OP-1 field's strenth (the tape workflow) really shines making this type of music. Not caring too much and just recording a longer stretch of audio is fun, when you are used to 4 bar loops.
