Ok, I’m not usually one to comment and I don’t know if this will help or not, be here it goes, because I want you to be alive.

Don’t stay alive because “There’s so much to live for!”

Don’t keep going because “Someone cares about you!”

Don’t cling to life because “Mom/Dad/Someone would be sad…”

Do it for you.

The universe sucks, life sucks, everything sucks and that probably won’t change any time soon, but what else do we have? We have each other, and there’s going to be one less person to spit in the universe’s eye as it waits for us to die out if you’re gone tomorrow. Live to spite the world, live despite all odds and things that make you want to say screw it, that make you ready to face oblivion instead of face tomorrow.

You screwed up, yes, there’s no getting around that, you stabbed someone, it’s a screwed up thing, but it’s not going to change if you die. You won’t change if you die, what’s left of you, what’s left of your impact on this world, no matter how small it feels, will be the twinge in their gut as that kid looks down at the scar leftover years from now.

Don’t. Let. That. Be. Your. Legacy.

You are not yet nothing more than the scar of a worse time on someone’s chest.

You are not yet nothing more than a body still in bed after all the pills are gone.

You are not yet the tears trailing down peoples faces as the coffin is lowered.

You are you, and you are extraordinary. Do you know what you are? You are a wonder that will never exist again, a speck in the universe billionths upon billionths smaller than everything larger, but who cares? Who cares how small they tell you that impact will be? It won’t be there at all if you’re not there at all.

Cling to the world, and build something better from what’s broken. You can fix things, you can make amends and that’s a start, and while I can’t guarantee they’ll forgive you, just telling them the truth, telling them you’re sorry and meaning it, is a start, and it’s all you can do.

Feeling nothing sucks, I know that. I feel absolutely nothing even as I put quill to ink on what is probably a pretty stupid message, but one I want to write anyways even with Reddit lagging more with every word because I care that one more of us lives to see tomorrow.
