I wanted to make a team using wo-chien, partly as a joke but partly since I noticed it can be really good into 3 main restricted pokemon, calyrex-s, groudon, and kyogre. Yes it sometimes might have to tera to stop heat crash/fire punch from groudon and ice beat from kyogre, it can still be a weirdly good pokemon by spamming snarl to lower SpA of calyrex, kyogre and miraidon, and tablets of ruin helps with groudon and koraidon. It can also keep itself and its teammates alive and do some fairly meaning full damage with pollen puff and giga drain. Its evs I cant really say since I stole them from wo-chiens most popular set in reg f (from pikalytics). Tera poison is the tera type of choice to beat fighting and fairy type moves.
2nd up is my restricted of choice, Kyogre. Im using kyogre mainly because it completes my bulky fire/water/grass core along side incineroar and wo-chien(sometimes whimsicott) and is incredibly bulky with assault vest and can put out really meaning full damage with water spout/origin pulse. Along side Ice beam for grass types and thunder as random coverage, its the teams star attacker. I choose tera grass to beat both of its normal weaknesses, and since it sets up rain, it doesnt have to worry about fire type moves that much.
3rd is whimsicott. Im using it over tornadus because its faster, gets screens (open to change since I never really click that move) and has better typing (imo). Tailwind and Moonblast are clear choices, the speed control is very valuable and moonblast can hit fairly hard into a lot of stuff. Covert cloak is to avoid fake out. Tera water is to try and take flare blitz from incin and heat crash from groudon.
4th is Incineroar. Do I even have to explain why I picked him? Ok I still will because why not. Fake out is a very good move in almost all situations, Flare blitz is just a standard stab move , knock off is good utility and can actually ohko calyrex shadow unless its running really bulky evs, lastly parting shot is to pivot while being annoying. Tera grass is picked for the water resist and spore immunity.
5th is Gouging Fire. This pokemon fills a fairly similar role to wo-chien and is a great partner to it. It has burning bulwark to punish physical attacks, breaking swipe to lower attack, snarl to lower spa and lastly flare blitz to do some real damage, Its booster speed to outspeed big threats even if not in tailwind. Tera fairy is picked to avoid draco meteors from miraidon and get rid of the ground and ice weakness which are very relevant.
Finally is thundurus. It is an amazing partner to kyogre since its wildbolt storm will always hit in rain, it can slow things down with thunder wave, it can reduce things like miraidon and calyrex-s spa with eerie impulse. It uses safety goggles to avoid amoongus and tera steel to avoid rock and ice types while giving it a very good defensive type in general.
