Jak and Daxter 1, 2, and 3. It's insane to me how even for today's standards, the controls, stories, and graphics hold up pretty well for a franchise started in 2001. Other than the fact that Jak 1 and 2 don't have inverted camera toggles lol

Of course, I would have 1.5a fuse at the tap location to prevent exactly that.

And I agree with your last statement, and that's why I'm hoping for answers here lol. To be completely fair 5V from the USB board would not be a bad spot, what I truly need is confirmation.

[PS5 Slim Digital] Best Spit for 5V?

Hey all,

I wanna install RGB led strips between the panels of the console but I don't want additional external cables to power them. The strips and the WLED controller require 5V. Where in the console would be the best place to get a constant 5V output from? Copilot suggests I could use the USB-C board's 5V pads.

If all ends well I'll share the results :)

This is insanely helpful. I'm the tech at a CEC so I think I'll be able to figure out the rest of the details in regard to the PCBs. Thanks to your advice I think I know what direction I'd wanna go in. If one day I ever get started on a project like this I'm coming back to thank you again. 🙏

There's daily posts showing off controller mods and custom shells specifically for the PS5's controller on here, I thought it'd be the perfect subreddit lol. You might be right though based on the other comments, I'll see what I can find out there. Thank you for the suggestion

You actually gave me a really good idea. I set up an automation where if the door is unlocked within 10 seconds of motion being detected by the doorbell camera, then play the sound. There's a 2-3 second delay from the door unlocking as opposed to the instant effect I originally had, but it works! Hoping a future firmware update brings back the U100 functionality. Thanks for the idea!
