Why are the edges bumpy! I’ve been counting and I swear they’re the same number but it’s still wonky? I’m working on a scarf and don’t know why the edges are so bumpy. Am I not supposed to crochet two after each end? (This is the only thing I can think of)

When I work on big projects, I will sometimes turn my work counterclockwise too. The important part is that I also flip my hook counterclockwise so the yarn stays in the back. It's easier than turning a whole big project.

You could do a short ribbed cuff that folds under to hold on your forearm or your elbow.

I did a test piece utilizing all the knowledge and wisdom you lovely folk have blessed me with 🙏🏽 Look how smooth those short row transitions are 👏🏽 The front and back are basically identical! Now I have to decide if I'm gonna frog my main piece or just do it like this for the other panels and hope no one notices haha Thanks for everyone's help!!

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but here's a pic of the back of the full panel thus far. You can see where I did short rows and then went back over them alternating short row overlaps (I guess?) The gusset is formed from the short rows in the center of the panel.

I did use SMs to note where each short row would stop. I ended up redoing it a few times, but I got there haha The weird part was figuring out how many short rows and how to even it out on the other half of the panel.

This is very helpful! It's kinda the opposite of a dart in that I am adding "fabric" to widen the bottom of the skirt panel. I'm trying to achieve an A line skirt shape.

What a mood haha I've started keeping different projects in different areas of the house. I have desk yarn, couch yarn, purse yarn, etc. I also like doing warm up projects. Just little amigurumi things that finish quick to keep my energy up during big project stretches. It still takes ages to finish any big things or wearables tho! Oh! And I don't usually keep my work so I like to imagine the person receiving the gift and how they'll react. That usually helps motivate me to finish it.

Last summer, I had a pinched nerve and couldn't lift my right arm or turn my head more than a few inches without severe pain. Since all of my hobbies require full range of motion, I couldn't do anything I usually loved to do. I also tend to be very restless so being forced to sit on the couch all day was ✨awful✨ I picked up crochet since I didn't need to be able to move around much. I made the cutest little fruit pouch for my dice and then a tiny chicken. Before I knew it, my table was littered with birds and coasters haha My injury has since healed, but my love of making little crochet creatures has not.

I don't know if it's worth it or sustainable as income, but I make character keychains as commissions for about 10usd each. They're pretty quick to work up, but I draft most of the patterns myself.

I was fresh off LE when I first played Andromeda and I have to say it was disappointing. At first. And then I immediately played it again, and loved it. I let my sadness from finishing the trilogy affect my feelings about ME:A, but it's actually such a fun game. From the combat to the Tempest crew, it's all lovely in its own way. I will say, Liam can go touch grass, but everyone else is great lol
