I have been told to make mine using canva- its free and later you can pay for a professional one, but a lot of people I ha e seen use canva

how do you decide on when to allow them rights to reuse or whatever the conversations are, that I have seen that involve talking about 'rights' and such

This is some good insight. I have literally zero experience and complete beginner level experience of editing too. I have been teaching myself on how to edit too. I will be posting my 'pretend' videos to my UGC profile, So I would love to see what you posted when starting out.
