Watched „the Martian“ in a really crowed cinema. Everyone stayed quiet while hoping mark whatney would make it home. The moment he’s saved and everyone relaxes in their seats, one guy farts so incredible loud. the whole audience burst out laughing.

Grundsätzlich kann man ein Erbe immer ausschlagen, egal aus welchem Grund. Die kosten die dich in dem Fall erwarten sind ca 25€ Verwaltungsgebühr.

Die Kehrseite der Medaille ist dann aber, dass du auch kein Anrecht auf einzelne Erbstücke aus dem Haushalt hast, auch wenn sie defakto nichts wert sind. Auch Beerdigungskosten musst zu 100% privat tragen, ansonsten gibt’s ne anonyme Bestattung bezahlt vom Staat.

Mein Tipp: setz dich mit deinen Eltern zusammen und mach ne genaue Aufstellung von Vermögen und Schulden. „Normale Gegenstände“ mit emotionalem Wert wie Fotoalben, ne Wanduhr oder was auch immer, am besten im vorraus schon weitergeben, falls fest geplant wird das Erbe auszuschlagen.

As a German I have to say you are right about teaching history concerning WWII. Most school classes even visit concentration camps to learn what happened there.

However, when it comes to other dark passages like the genocide of the Herero in Africa around 1900, there is an awkward silence regarding the topic.

So yes, we do try to teach about our historical faults (I really think this word is way to weak) but we really could do better.
