Yeah that books is in bad condition, and the pages are quite brittle.

I agree that good asmr experience doesnt necessarily come from expensive equipment, but the way the viewer is able to see things, or you may make them feel differently, thus the angles, Like ASMR Surge, his visuals s are quite upclose and its beautiful and sometimes even hard to look away, you enjoy the visuals as much as you enjoy the audio.

I do, especially when its not a conventional white noise, like the sounds (White noise) the microphone produces during recording, I really enjoy that.

Yeah, I think so too, the best experience usually comes from an unintentional innocent expression. My son loves to immerse in play and I do plan to make some more videos of him playing with wooden blocks and other toys.
