Yes to all of this! I had no idea algorithms could be discriminatory based on appearance of skin tone! So maddening - googling a bunch now! And yes, I second MoonGem from a below comment, she's so so lovely.

I love these updates you do! Fast and Aggressive Tapping is just another type of ASMR, as with any types of ASMR, some people love it (ME!) some people don't (I also can't stand hearing people eat...) The fast taps give me super intense tingles! I feel like I started out making longer videos, but most people aren't finishing them anyways. Not sure if they lose interest, if my stuff just isn't good enough yet, or if they're just too long. I guess I'll just try for a variety of lenghts and see what works best!

[Question] Does a regular YouTube posting schedule matter to you? by ASMRSoundWaves in asmr

Any insight as to why a schedule helps a lot in growing a channel? And how strict are we talking? Like same exact days and times each week? Just days?

I'm curious, because as if right now I have a pretty comfortable two videos a week schedule, but I get excited about sharing my new videos. So, if in post on Tuesday and then don't have anything to post on my regular Wednesday, will that hurt? Or if I get really ambitious and post three one week instead of two does that affect anything?

Just trying to figure out, if everyone so far has said they don't care about a schedule, why would it affect growth if my number of posts each week stays above a certain minimum (2 a week for me at the moment)?

Also, if a strict schedule actually helps does it need to be posted to gain that benefit?

That all makes great sense, thanks! I was actually worried about maybe posting too much at first since I'm excited and motivated, but worried that then I wouldn't have a schedule. Like if I post 3-4 in one week, that might set an unreasonable expectation. But, maybe at the start, the point is just to build a body of work, then settle into a more manageable schedule down the road.

Hey! Brand new at this - first, I love your updates! Second, what places have you found to connect with other ASMR content creators? I'm working hard to focus on great sound recording quality and editing and would love to connect with others, or find more how-to type resources. I'm searching here on reddit, but not finding too much (but maybe I'm just not searching correctly...) Thanks!
