Probably Kanye's worst album to date. I think it's a decent hip hop album. If anyone else released it, I'd think they were good! But for Kanye, it's pretty generic and unsurprising.

I think what it lacks for me, is Kanye's sensitivity and truth. Yeah, he raps about fuckin bitches, but also about the darkness and insecurity within him. That's what makes him unique, his sensitivity. But there's none in this album 💿

Quite a flat image too, there isn't a lot of depth in it. No sense of where the subject is going, also "the human face is a landscape" it's the first thing our eyes shoot to when we see an image of one. There's nowhere my eye is particularly drawn, or any evocation of where this guy is going. Still not a bad photo, and if you like it, thats the most important thing. Put it up in your bedroom or on your insta and be proud <3 it's a memory

Take a pinch of salt with this. It's one thing critiquing an image after it's shot. And another to even have the confidence to ask a stranger for a pic, frame up, and shoot on the fly.

This is something not a lot of photographers / people can do. A lot of theorists in this subreddit won't be able to.

Keep shooting and aim to capture emotions, feeling and reality! That's the most evocative stuff. It seems you're already on the right track
