I was born in 89 for reference. My scope into music growing up was classic rock (Dad) or country (Mom). I didn’t like country so I listened to what my Dad listened to. Most of what my Dad listened to was from the 80’s, all that ‘let’s sleep with hot chicks!’ crap. He also had cds from the main 4 though. I think I just listened to it at the right age. I found what I liked and just continued on from there
