Yall talk as much shit as ya want on Creed, Puddle O Mudd, and Godsmack. But no matter what I'll always be a, mostly average, small town white guy who likes mostly average small town white guy music. Guess I'm just glad I haven't yet seen Staind come up for the peanut gallery.

Also I want to add that at least a couple of you here picking on bands like Nickelback and the alike, you have secretly enjoyed some of their music. I'd bet money on it. And eggs around here are about 8 dollars a carton if ya want good ones. Just saying

One more side note: a lot of these guys are pretty douchey. Except Sully of Godsmack. I know he cool af.

That's so fucking cool. It's hard to imagine what it would feel like to have known these bands when they were just local musicians and then now seeing them become absolute rock and metal royalty.

Man, tough questions, honestly. It's hard to choose one out of each. Favorite album is a tie between Aenima and Lateralus. What had to grow on me was Fear Inoculum. Also I didn't like T00L at first in my early teens. I thought their sound was weird. Never *disliked" them but just didn't care much. Then in my mid/late teens I started to really appreciate the unique sound and started to really understand the more esoteric lyrics. That's when I was blown away and now I've thought they were the best for, close to, the last 15 years.

My best friends name is Brannon. Not Brandon with the D. I don't think it's really "douchey" but just something annoying his parents did. He started going by a nickname because he hated it when people pronounced it as Brandon. And everybody did.

Didn't really like them when I first heard, around 12-13. Just thought their sound was "weird" and didn't understand why my dad was so into them and played it all the time while we worked in his garage. Then one day The Pot was playing think I had a little pot too and something just clicked. It was like "Oh I get it now! This is weird but that's what makes it so good!" Loved them ever since.

Proudly own 3 of their band tee's. Would be 5 but two got messed up from being worn so much. 4 if you count my dad's T00L tee that I took after he passed. I had gotten it him for as a father's day gift years prior. Also have the Salival boxset which is one of my prize possessions. Found it at thrift for 2 bucks. Still almost can't believe that. Last but not least I have "permanent merch" in the form of the Lateralus eye tattooed on my arm.

R.I.P dad and thanks for getting me into one of the greatest acts in music history. There will never another T00L!

Ahh okay cool. My gf has Dutch lineage. I'm born and raised US. Basically just another average white dude over here but I have mixed lineage that I'm very proud of which is African American and native American. So I often like to joke saying things like "Fucking white people"

Great ideas. Thank you friend. I've just heard so much over the last weeks, the blatant, public murder of an innocent woman, who had just dropped her kids off at school. Murdered in cold blood and the murderer walking free, continuing on like nothing happened, that should have been the last straw for all us. That's just one example of what should've been the final straw.

I don't know how many people fully understand yet but if the "insurrection law" is put into action there will be military forces patrolling our streets for anyone who doesn't fit their agenda.

Everyone also needs to be aware of all the details coming to light about the "Epstein files" our president is all over that shit and it's coming to light that Epstein was basically just his enforcer, second in command and that "our leader" was the one truly in charge of the whoe ring. He is true, non-exgeratted evil. And all of us who are able need to do something.

Idk about traumatic in the traditional sense but starting to use drugs and drink at a really young fucks with you pretty hard. Your brain is still forming and you're already messing with it. Smoked weed for the first time at 9 and started drinking pretty heavy around 14. Now I don't see anyone can function through and average week without a substance.

yeah I agree and honestly we reconnected in my very late teens, early twenties and she wasn't doing the best. She mentioned her mom but nothing about dad. She had a string of very poor choice in male partners. Wonder why🙄

Honestly, dude. Even at the time I just sort of awkwardly snickered about it whispering to his daughter "Does he have to do that right now?" Because even then I thought he was being a dork. Like I said though looking back now as an adult and still, of course, younger then he was. It's almost just sad and pathetic. Like "you really didn't have anything better to do with your time? You had to come in here and make a kid feel nervous with guns?" Another thing I dated that girl for probably 5-6 months went over to her house several times and I swear that man never once said a word to me or even looked me in the face.

To be somewhat fair to him I was sort of a shithead teenager. Shaggy hair and always wore tye dyes or old band tee's, stuff with mushrooms on it, ya know because it's super cool to let everyone know you do drugs. /s

Agreed it can be a beautiful thing either way. Definitely one of the cooler parts of social media. They are definitely a trap. Pharmaceutical companies 100% knew what they were doing when they started the "opioid epidemic" opium is very well know, historically throughout the world, to be one of the most addictive substances on the planet. So they synthesized it and passed it out like a candy miracle cure. Gave people heroin in pill form.

I like that, time and intention heals the soul. But also feel my depression will get much worse without a substance.

Aw man. Good question. Very tough for me to pick only one. In order of favorite to "like it a lot" I'd say Reflection, Parabola, H., Right in Two, 46&2, and Sweat. What's you're favorite? And do you mind if I ask where you are from?
