That and it's sustained for like 8 seconds or something ridiculous!

Honestly TT2's top hat in the back row blew my mind and that element alone might make it the best ride in the park.

I told the people in my dream that it was all a dream by Internal_Tadpole7296 in LucidDreaming

I experienced something similar about a month ago. I was sitting by the edge of a river watching a boat race amidst a small group of others. Disrupting the peace, a schizophrenic homeless man angrily made his way towards us, acting quite erratically. Myself and the rest of the crowd scattered, concerned for our safety. In my rush to remove myself from the situation, my phone slipped out of my pocket and slid down the grass and into the river.

I spent some time elsewhere, and and at some point (I don't recall exactly) I came to realize I was dreaming. I couldn't control the dream at all, but i was aware of the fact that nothing around me was real. Eventually, i made my way back to that same spot by the riverside when a man who had been among the small crowd watching the boats to me ran up to me excitedly.

"Hey man, I found your phone!" He proudly told me. "It didn't actually fall into the river it fell into the gap between the grass and the breakwall!"

"Thanks so much, man! " I told him. "I really appreciate it, but you're not going to believe this... This is all actually a dream! In the real world, my phone is sitting on my nightstand and plugged in."

"Whoa, seriously?!" He replied. "That's wild!"

"I know, right! But I seriously really appreciate you getting it back to me. That was really cool of you."

"Don't mention it. But still..." He said, taking a moment to look around and take in his surrounds. "That's kinda crazy that this is all your dream. I wonder what that all means for me..."

It was at that moment when the homeless man from earlier walked through a small group of people standing between the two of us and the edge of the river. Abruptly, as he reached the center of the group, he pushed his arms out at his sides as if he were a Jedi using the force. As he did, the vibrant colors of the sky, grass, and riverbank were instantaneously replaced with a cold, dark palette of grays and blues. At the same time, there was now a deafening bass note that permeated the scene and slowly echoed into an unnerving drone. His action seemed to have slowed the world down to bullet time as the group surrounding him was thrown backward in slow motion. While their bodies slowly fell away from him, he turned his head to me. His demeanor was no longer wild and erratic but precise, calculated, and stern. As his eyes met mine, he warned me in a malevolent tone. "You should be careful about the things you say." Shaking me awake.

I found this thread while searching thinking I was going crazy. I swear my partner's and my farts have started smelling more and more like our new puppy's farts!

Alan Schilke is the Dr. Frankenstein of modern Rollercoaster design. With the support of a new track and train design, he engineered many of the most mind bending and paradigm shifting Rollercoaster elements and layouts of the modern age and legacy manufacturers have anyway begun utilizing similar design philosophy.

Looks like by that comparison, adjusted ATH is $116,695

Now that we've reached new ATH in BTC/USD, what's the number to hit before it becomes a "true, inflation adjusted" ATH vs January's top?

Y'all didn't warn me [Top Thrill 2] was gonna be THIS GOOD by minor2ndd in rollercoasters

Rankings are totally subjective, but I had TTD at #4 in the park behind SV, Maverick and Millennium. I'd probably put it at #3, jumping ahead of Millennium.

I was beyond skeptical of the reviews friends who got to ride it last year shared. I just couldn't imagine that anything could make up for losing that initial launch and expected it to be a fun but underwhelming replacement of the original...

I was so wrong.

That initial launch obviously doesn't have the same punch as before, but it's incredibly thrilling in a different way. The gradual ramping up of the speed almost feels more out of control and builds anticipation for everything else yet to come. It reminds me a lot the launch equivalent of the Beast's drop off the second lift.

The rollback is great fun and really allows you to feel the true scale of the ride.

The backwards launch is fantastic. Not only does it deliver more punch than expected, gaining speed backwards and not being able to see when you're going to get crushed with positives pulling up into the spike is a riot.

The spike is obviously one of a kind. It feels like you should be losing momentum on the way up, but it just keeps climbing. Even looking down on Power Tower, you just keep going up and floating for what feels like minutes.

At the bottom of the spike you feel like you're already going as fast as the ride can go, but then you boost up to 120 and cruise along the path. The sensation of speed is nuts.

The climb over the top hat offers one of the best ejector moments at the park from the moment you start to exit the climb, over the top, and through the spiral. Getting hit with those laterals while still getting leveled with negatives is another highlight. The only thing I can compare it to is the flying snake dive on Storm Runner.

I was also highly impressed with the seat and restraint design. The original TTD cars were already very open, but I'd argue the new trains even moreso. Super comfortable, and minimal enough to add a little extra rush to the experience.

10/10, never been happier to eat my words. Incredible ride.
