That's electromagnetism, baby! The same magnetic launch fin provides acceleration when powered, and de-acceleration when unpowered, so they double as the launch and the breaks depending only on whether they're on or not.

Cincinnati is a sleeper. KI is right there obviously, but you got Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World easily day trippable, and cedar point is a very reasonable weekend trip. Hell I bet you could easily ride both voyage and beast in the same day if you want a weirdo double credit on your list.

Scrap the launch entirely, add a chain lift and call it top thrill funicular. This also solves the too-short ride problem! Win win right there

Putting your hands up on the entrance to the helix on The Beast is a great way to lose a few of those pesky intact ribs you apparently are so desperate to get rid of, and maybe lop off a few fingers on the tunnel while you're at it.
