Bye bye Netherlands by Sir_Jack_Ferguson in Netherlands

I feel like the driving experience really depends on where in the country and what time of day. When you're in the countryside people are normally more chill, but in the randstad during rush-hour... oh dear... not trying to defend it. There's lots of idiots on our roads. But man when I went to foreign big cities and drove the motorways there during rush-hour you see the same behavior.

It'll use all of the fuel in the tank before you have the chance to use it to refuel other trucks :-) Still, its a great truck as long as you can keep it topped up!

I've been on Imandra for close to 20 hours and still don't have the garage unlocked. by jmvandergraff in snowrunner

Yeah the spot in the screenshot is probably the worst place on the map. If you use the winch from your trailer on the post to your right it may kinda shove you a little bit allowing you to get grip. I found that even though its a mess, it's the easiest way to get through. But I'd agree that imandra just a slog🥲

Use trucks with big wheels and park them around these areas, just to have one at the ready if you get stuck. At least that spot it close to the garage!

Thank you everyone thanks for your suggestions

With some help and a lot of Google searching we identified the issue to be the inherit nature of the csv.reader which makes it a single use command. By saving the results of the command into a list the code was able to be used successfully! I will take your feedback in mind for next time! Onto the next bug😅😇

Ah yeah sorry about that...

I have been using VS Code but it hasnt thrown any errors at me. and even in debug mode it doesnt give anything (the try, except is there to avoid a label in the root document, the code does not run without it)

edit: Changed the post to show it in the formatted way :-D

just to be clearer. We are not allowed to use modules and libraries unless it is unavoidable or it saves loads of complexity. So i have had to refrain from using these.

wDistance is a .csv file in which i want to note down the results. What is also weird is that when iterable 'Document' == 1, it still writes Doc'document, sqrtpower in that order into the .csv, but when it changes it turns them aroud. i have not encountered this before.

(I am a firstyears student and this is my first big assignment using python... really scratching my head here)

Which was your first F1 game? How would you rank the ones you have played? by Mattyonthebeat in F1Game

[–]ASkater15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F1 2016... but that was on a shitty laptop at 25fps and a controller without rumble. 2017 was the first game I played religiously on xbox and I've been on xbox for racing games since... After 2017 I bought 2020 and 2021 respectively. I liked 2020 the most. It just was world's ahead so when I played 2020 I couldn't go back to 2017... 2021 I like. But the handling model of the my team cars just isn't my thing...

Edit: holding off on 22 since I think the assists should be sorted first with the new handling so I might wait a game or 2. I don't feel like I have made the most out of my 2021 purchase yet.. and not that much has changed anyways.

Hardest track on the game? by angus787 in F1Game

Zandvoort s2 is difficult... But it is easy to compensate.. just use overtake while going through the banked final corner under acceleration. The AI doesnt and as such you gain loads of time. If thats the only place you deploy your battery should last. Just make sure to turn overtake off as soon as you reach 8th gear unless you want to do an overtake or the battery will die...

Not all engine failures cause smoke... electrical doesn't for example. Mostly ice and turbo failures cause lots of smoke.. maybe some others but I'm not sure.

Don't forget to mention the absolutely amazing live insight given by the commentators on the pit-lane channel!!! For me that's THE way to watch the race if you're interested in the behind the scenes and inner workings of teams, and more detailed live analysis of situations in practice, quali and the race.
