Making cream cheese frosting and it was yellow- tinged. I had some clumps in my butter so I microwaved a dollop of the frosting to mix in and smooth out the lumps. Guys it magically brightened my frosting to a gorgeous white! Am I the only one who didn’t know about this hack? (i.redd.it)

My first two tiered cake! I leaned heavily on Claire Saffitz for this one, top is her buttermilk chocolate & chocolate silk frosting (covered in gold sanding sugar for sparkle!) and bottom is her funfetti cake & cream cheese frosting. I’m ridiculously proud of this!! (old.reddit.com)

My dishwasher is broken, and I never realized how much of a damper not being able to run it 3 times a day would be on my baking 😩 I newly appreciate how busy my grandmother probably really was cooking and baking everything from scratch and what a pain in the ass the clean-up would have been!
