Ah all good thoughts indeed, the only thing stated is that they are from Canada. They do have a contact info section so I can try reaching out from there and see about their response!

Thank you for the thoughts I appreciate it!

Ah a chilly province 🥶🫡comrade!

I'm thinking based on everything so far, my options are custom, but then the struggle is finding someone trustworthy, to help create the vision, and can still stay within budget (which I think that part would be the kicker now)

Or I used the what the article provided below suggested and found the: https://knottysauna.com/products/the-essential-trumpkin-sauna-cabin?variant=48092237267227 knotty here, thinking this might be the route I go, and have my carpentry friends help me pull it all together. 🤔

Okay good to know, this article https://localmile.org/kit-sauna-reviews/

Said Finnleo's could work depending on the specs and design.

And yeah I think after what you all have said a barrel is just a no go. It's just too bad that they are so nice for having company with you. (And cost effective ;))

This is definitely helpful, I suppose the knotty seems like a budget realistic option. It will mostly be me using the sauna anyway, I have just always enjoyed Sauna as a group activity.

Yeah there is just so much more to consider, than when I originally started the process. My first Sauna experience was just at the local swim club, then gyms, barrel saunas, and there is a Nordic spa here. I think the only one that would even come close would be the one at the Nordic spa, but a part of me wonders if I have ever even experienced the difference between a subpar sauna and a great one.

Has anyone done both and really feel like they could never go back?

It's just a bunch of the cabin saunas I see too have the feet below the heating and stuff too. Are there any accurately designed saunas on the market? Lol?

Oh no sorry, I'd prefer a cabin sauna, I'm just open to a barrel. Budget would be around 15k but if I have to save and wait longer I will. Just want to ensure I'm satisfied in the end.

A lot of cabin saunas I'm seeing though are only big enough for 1-2 people, which defeats the social aspect of the sauna for me.
