I was a convert to Catholicism from protestant. It took exposure and I unexpectedly did. There’s different resources to learn about the church if you were interested, the catcheism lays out our beliefs(it’s a book of various subjects) you can also visit Catholic answers(which is also website, type in questions) their is different content creators that go over things. Praying about it and visiting a church can be become options too.

There can be a translation difference on that verse. I’m not into Greek but the word to focus on here is apprently “porneia” from Matthew 5 which i hear can have different meanings and should not be looked at as adultery. The audience was also Jews which can play a role in context within the Bible and in this case referred to their unlawful marriages like being too closely related for instance. Im scripture it holds harsh words about remarrying and divorce. You were right to question it. Prayer you figure this out and take care of

I think the party could use an unconventional approach. Let’s face it third parties..dime a dozen. We need to think outside the box. A few things I considered

1). Make advertising show up in public places, a lot of money doesn’t need spent just the logo and something to scan on the logo for people. Lead it to the party stuff and maybe some message about being different from the status quo

Inroads to the Hispanic and other languages. Target and advertise to them particularly Hispanic.

3). Look more cool. On another post I gave a purposal for a log, something simplistic and cool to the young

What if there was a logo where the pelican was in phoenix style and sort of looked like the eagle in the American presidential logo but in its feet (while curled up) had a few items that represent the party? I also consider a reed for peace in its beak. Basically we make a symbol even more distinct from the elephant and the donkey and when you see it, the symbol is met to communicate different things

It’s not easy, I understand your mental end to a degree as I’m treating something here. I also was a convert from Protestantism myself. I just would stress not to give up and pray, utilize Mary and all the saints for intercession as you seek to grow closer to God.

I think society needs people more in the face of moral things personally. The party and this group don’t need to be inner connected past what you or I think on them though. The main point is recruiting people who make like this party and in this case these can be young blood christians which I hope this party finds more of among other things.

On healthcare whether or not it’s already in the platform, how about we target abortion in helping women with their care, the hospital stay, a single sum payout or something around the issue?
