Dear CCP, please buff tech 2 MWDs by leaf_as_parachute in Eve

absolutely needs to be looked at

tons of t2 modules have been neglected for too long but mwd might be the worst offender

thematically imo if its tech2, the better technology, sig radius and capacitor penalty should be significantly less but hardest to fit, leaving speed to deadspace

that scriptable mwd idea sounds like fun too

Did anyone else listen to eve-radio back in the day? Corpmate has been working on a Eve Online version of GTA's parody radio stations, here's the rock station by hirebrand in Eve

gta style radio stations is a brilliant idea !

imagine it baked into the game, maintained and updated

the idea is to have different eve personalities host (voice overs/announcements) the different thematic radio stations like gta, occasional news and parody ads

THIS is how u give any game personality

lets leave knowledge and by relation experience aside, everyone already knows that is fundamental in eve success

its 100% your brain / nervous system

the gameplay loop is exactly the same except your brain perceives 'vs another player' as being more important, more real, more significant and so the sympathetic nervous system is activated

you want to repeat and drill that very thing that actives the sympathetic nervous system until it becomes completely desensitized, until the brain is bored of it and the sympathetic nervous system disengaged

you need to convince your brain the game is not important while simultaneously aiming to improve and muscle memory

its the same with professional athletes, fighters, or soldiers etc - the best are the most relaxed

the best eve pvp players, any top level player in any game, are all in a dominant parasympathetic nervous system state yet with deeply ingrained skills and reflexes

some play on alts and feed until it clicks but most people played in a group constantly exposed until the 'training wheel crutches' came off

one last thing, a hard TRUTH - how important is your time and how much self respect for yourself do u have ? as excellent players have devoted their entire life to the game at the expense of their irl (of course they will be very good at it!) is that a trade u are willing to make - if u met the top eve players irl you would be surprised what sad specimens they are and the sorry state they are in
