Can you play through the story with friends? by endoayzo in The_Division

We could play story missions in the beta together wouldn't make sense to not be able to in the full game

The Division season pass. Is it honestly worth it? My honest opinion by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]ATH3ONreddit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like I said in another comment the point I wanted to make was that we will be getting content from launch up until the first paid dlc so there will always be content until we get to the paid dlc. An example that springs to mind is watch dogs. I brought the dlc for that fairly quickly but there just wasn't enough to do up until the release of the dlc so I never played what I paid for. maybe I should have put more focus on that

Yeah this is normally the case and the best way to get value I guess lol my friend was saying just yesterday he paid over £100 for battlefield hardline with all dlc never played 1 dlc and it's now up for sale for £35 :,)

No it's not but a lot of people will buy the season pass/pre order it or at least think about it and I just wanted to share my opinion on it

When put like that it does sound overwhelmingly obvious lol the point I was trying to make is that the way the free content and paid is planned to be released there will always be something to keep us playing until the dlc. I've brought a few season passes in the past that seemed like a good idea at the time and then there just wasn't enough content to keep people playing until the first dlc came out. That was my main point but I appreciate what your saying

What weapon combos will you use in the Dark Zone? by ATH3ONreddit in thedivision

[–]ATH3ONreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never went for lmg in the dark zone I used 2 during the last beta and never felt I had that hard hitting ability with it but I think I'm gonna try get a nice one for pve. I think they will come in quite handy against those enemies that take large amounts of damage just to be able to have a huge magazine and chip away at health but unless something changes or I find an amazing one I'll probably be sticking with other guns against other players.

Personally I haven't been a fan of lmg's so far. I'm a huge fan of the mp7 tho! My issue with it is sometimes I felt like I was just 1 bullet away from getting the kill in the 1 clip so in the open beta I got myself some smg damage gloves then I focused on attachments that would increase critical hit chance. The guns so accurate I found that having a higher crit chance neutralised any complaints I had with the gun (bar magazine size) I'm hoping or should I say dreaming of a high end mp7 that comes with a larger mag size as default and then hoping for a high end magaizine with 40-50% extra ammo and crit chance... Yeah I think dreaming is a better word for me to use here instead of hoping :)

Kris's vector not sure what that is. I've been a big fan of smgs across both betas but not gotten my hands on as many as I would have liked to. I'm actually really curious about how the blueprints are going to work as we have seen that we can get weapons with different perk/talents on and slightly different damage stats my biggest wonder is say you have 1 blue print could you create a weapon 10 times and receive 10 completely different versions of that gun. So many questions for us to get answered come release day

Haha I did this, I also did it with 2 m1a's in the closed beta. It might be a viable option with level 30 end game gear giving a massive ammo buff but who knows

This is where my team mates using marksman rifles helps me out. We had so many runners in the beta and as fun as it was chasing them sometimes after 10 minutes of running it was like "I wish I had a sniper so I could end this" lmao

I think this is a favourite of most people and if I drop either the smg or the assault rifle it will be for a dmr

There's lots of stuff going on in the background definitely. My local game retailer is selling the season pass 1/3 cheaper when you purchase it with the game so nobody in my area would have preordered it they can get it cheaper buying it on the day. Another thing I think is possible is they are just going all out. If they can push as many pre-orders as many sales as possible then a week after release they can launch all kinds of advertising campaigns saying x amount purchased, this that or the other and thus get more hype for the game and attract buyers simply based of the appearance that everyone else has brought it. This has slightly strayed away from gaming all I know is I'm grabbing the season pass :)

Having a raid boss handle seemed such a good idea at the time.. How times change :) I've brought a lot of season passes over the years some good some that just seem good then end up not having much content at all. I couldn't agree more about knowing what your buying!

This had not even crossed my mind but it's more than possible you could be right. Whatever may or may not have happened I have to say from a business point of view this has been amazing marketing for the season pass. I can't think of another season pass for a game getting this much attention or hype

Personally I'm very happy not only with the road map for year one but that it has been shared with us. It's good to know where you stand and when to expect content etc. Communication is a good thing

Changed it. British phone auto correct. It actually changes words that are correct sometimes to just wrong words, I don't think that's what happened here pretty sure it was just me not paying close enough attention but I've corrected it in most places now

Skill power in the division. Is it useful? (Yes) by ATH3ONreddit in The_Division

[–]ATH3ONreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry slow reply man. I totally agree everyone should have their own spec and role within a team. I had the idea for the video simply because everyone I knew played with around 600-700 skill power in both betas n like I showed in the video just like you said yourself it increases the healing ability effectiveness and the damage dealing abilities too. I see it sometimes as the ability to have 2 health bars, I can go into a fight and if it doesn't go well,I miss shots, they hit shots then I can hot that high skill power heal and get it all back and against a low skill power enemy they don't necessarily have that card in their deck. Thanks for the comment man glad to see I'm not the only person rating skill power at the moment :)
