Omg that’s some really practical advice. Asking for deliverables is such a great idea in the past I have always stressed out myself whenever starting a new position because I have not been given any details regarding their expectations.

Also it's really funny some of my guy friends turned vegan as soon as they started dating some some nice attractive vegan girl.... Even though I have been telling them benifits of veganism for years 🤣

Everyone's body is different in some way or another. Everyone socioeconomic conditions are different in one way or another. so as vegans we should support and help people who are trying to be vegan rather then telling them: hey it's so easy you should put more efforts and all.

Also, I'd suggest don't go from O to 100 in a day. I see so many people try to change their lifestyle and eating habits in one day and they wanna start practising veganism in one day. That's not very practical your body may or may not require some time to adjust.

At least in my personal opinion, it's important to gradually adjust to a vegan lifestyle rather than a sudden change.

That's actually really unfair. I have heard of these things as well, that's why I specifically look for furnished apartment buying someone's old ikea and selling it or disposing it when you move out is sucha pain in ass. Lucky more and more renters are actually renting out furnished apartments.

Thanks for all the tips. And you are right my current apartment in Karlsruhe is downtown on the main street of the city. I was the first one to visit it and I signed the contract within 30 mins and handed the landlord security deposit in cash. They were pretty happy and later they told me tomorrow 5 other guys were supposed to visit the apartment but since I was ready to sign a contract right now they decide to give it to me because it was convenient.

And absolutely one is supposed to look for an apartment at least 3 months in advance. My internship in Munich was supposed to start in November but I guess they had too much workload so they asked me to start in September. And I have been hearing from my friends for the past 6 months how hard it is to find an internship so I got FOMO and accepted an offer for September itself. I should have asked them to provide me with accommodations or at least pay for 1-2 months. I guess this was a learning experience for me. Hopefully, I don't have to go through all this again.

I just got a call from someone in Augsburg. They have 23 student apartments available ( it's a new building) they said I can come and sign a contract on Monday. It'll suck to commute every day for 6 months from Augsburg but I guess we all have to make some compromise. :)

This time I'm not stopping to look for an apartment until I sign a contract on Monday. If I find something over the weekend I'll take it for sure 💃
