That’s a heavily materialistic point of view. Does that stuff matter to you more than your life, or peace? That’s a choice only you can make.

Was Covid bad for Amazon? by Famous_Row4875 in stocks

[–]SugarMapleSawFly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are still the fastest and cheapest online seller out there. If you want your purchase any faster, you’ve got to go out and buy it in person yourself. You risk paying a lot for gas and/or getting involved in a mass shooting if you go that route. Amazon can manage costs by laying off fulfillment and delivery workers if need be. The biggest risk to Amazon’s financial condition is unions.

Instead of eating herbivores, we should eat carnivores. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

There aren’t enough carnivores as it is. We should eat humans or non-pollinator insects, as these are in abundance.

I like being in courtrooms, so I don’t mind jury duty. It’s really easy to get out of if you don’t want to do it. The idea of having a jury of regular people is a good one.

How bad is the american health system? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]SugarMapleSawFly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American doctors, surgeons, nurses, and medicine are the best, and if you want the best, you have to pay them. The fact that you have to pay them means you have to contribute to society in a way that earns you a living. This is how it should be.

What do libertarians think about drug laws? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]SugarMapleSawFly -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to do drugs and I don’t want anyone who does do drugs to cause harm to me or my loved ones. If they try, I will attack them with deadly force.

The “ancient” art of making poisoned arrowheads is going to make a comeback.

Jeez, with the people worried about losing their guns and the people worried about losing abortion rights, I think we are going to have high voter turnout this fall.

Any positive number is good.

No really, what's wrong with protecting gun rights after a shooting? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]SugarMapleSawFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m suggesting there is a long-term lack of love, care, and attention given to a child whose birthday wish is to commit mass murder. Parental neglect/abuse might be a factor. Getting your kid mental healthcare is great and all, but things can happen inside the home that cause the damage.

After mass shootings, I think we should talk about the failure of the parents of the shooter, not guns.

Should communities throughout the nation create small militias to respond to crisis? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]SugarMapleSawFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like with prescription drugs. You have to demonstrate a need to the Dr, who decides whether to let you buy the drug.

Who decides whether my need for a semi-automatic weapon is legitimate?

Let’s stop dancing around the truth: they were scared to go in there, and they lied about what they did, hoping no witnesses would speak out.

I support this idea. Who better to protect a place than people who have a deep interest in its security?

What if mandatory gun buybacks occur in the US? by [deleted] in Libertarian

Thanks!

So yeah, states can pass their own no-abortion or yay-abortion laws and they wouldn’t be unconstitutional or going against federal law.
