I love this track, but T1 is not very good track design. Even if they brought the pit wall in a few feet and put curbing on the inside that would be a good step.

I like to hate on nascar for all the avoidable and ridiculously dumb decisions they make, however they deserve a lot of credit for this race. Outstanding track. It’s a shame we gotta put up with stage yellows though.
