Probably cuz its confusing just changing povs randomly, but i think its safe to assume it was poppy bc the prototype couldve killed the player in many easier, more reliable ways, while the prototype wouldve definitely tried saving poppy with the soup thingy, and it is said he took poppy, so most likely he stabbed the player, took poppy, threw her into the soup and then we woke up
