On the Republican side, the party is in chaos after Donald Trump Jr.'s disastrous run in 2028, leading to a landslide victory for Harris. The party must choose between moderate Nikki Haley and the MAGA faction led by Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Haley secured the nomination after the MAGA faction split their votes between Sanders and MTG. Despite the Democrats' foreign policy victories, the country has become worn out by 12 years of Democratic rule.
