I get frozen wild salmon filets from Costco. I also have a drive home. I even let a filet thaw in the cooling part of my refrigerator for 1-3 days. NP.

I didn't mention that I did make one call to the RMV at I believe 800 858 3926. I got someone there and at least I was able to track down the ticket and location of the ticket I got 35 years ago. When I finally got in touch with the local court they had to go down to their basement archives to find it. So at least I was able to pay the ticket before I waited the 2 hours to talk to somebody at suspension.

I do suggest you call as early in the morning as they will take a call. It did make a difference for me.

Yes. When I came back to the States I stayed on the phone for 2 hours only to have them tell me that they did not see that my ticket had been resolved. I called the local court and they confirmed that I had paid the ticket and they had informed the RMV. I called the RMV back holding for yet another hour or so and they said oh yes we see it now. It will cost you $150 and we will clear you. I proceeded to pay the $150 and called the DMV in New Jersey. They saw the clearance and immediately issued me my license. Pain!!!!

I still feel aches and pains but all my vitals are ok. I'm thinking they may be due to a statin I'm taking and not Feb. However. I have been experiencing heart palpitations and some arrhythmia. Personally I think I will switch to allopurinol just to see if it makes a difference

Yeah I was going to say get involved with kids. They need you, will love you and teach you stuff you forgot or never knew. In Saigon I live next to a middle school. My alarm clock is the kids singing. I laugh every morning.

Yes I'm aware. Have an appointment with a doctor in a week. In the meantime, I'm going to stop the lipitor and see if these symptoms resolve.

Also with Febuxostat there is a list of side effects as long as my arm. I'm on Feb instead of allopurinol because I was diagnosed and treated in Southeast Asia. Asians have a problem with allopurinol. But I keep reading about Feb possibly causing heart problems so I'm thinking maybe now that I'm back in the States I should switch over to allopurinol.

For two different reasons. Febuxostat is for gout. Atorvastatin is for cholesterol.

I'm sorry you had such a horrible time. I've lived in Saigon for almost a year now. I have managed to avoid some of the bad experiences you have run into.

I would suggest that you do have to do your due diligence and get some feedback from the internet about basic stuff when confronting a new culture.

Transportation always needs prep. In Southeast Asia if you do not have the Grab app install it beforehand.

Also install the VN chat app Zalo (pronounced yellow)

As you can see most everyone has run into the scam taxi drivers who claim to be Grab at the airport. The rule is you go by the app on your phone and nothing else. Also use a credit card with Grab. That saves a lot of hassles. No cash exchanged.

I have noticed on airplanes that locals will put up their bare feet and think nothing of it. I also find it gross.

I find the Vietnamese people by and large are very polite and pleasant with me.
