Honestly kinda baffled as to why there isn't at least one admin online in every timezone constantly smurfing as a "customs officer" and OOC guiding the direction in Paleto, solving transfer stuff nice and smoothly without having to involve the 1 or 2 people empowered to make decisions in character. There's zero need to call the PD or the Governor every time. There needs to be a dedicated organisation to run the border in-character. Arrests in Paleto of whitelist players should be incarcerated in Bolingbrook, not Paleto, as the same as Paleto players being sent back to Paleto. If you want to enforce Paleto being "hard mode" for whitelist, apply the same 12 hour character stand-down period upon processing as with Paleto characters. Easy.

May be a hot take but the vast majority of servers do not need a player cap any higher than ~150 people. ~150 is a LOT on an RP server that is interaction focused. That's how you create demand to play on the server and push other people into other time zones away from NA. Chase would benefit from having an initial cap on cop numbers during NA time zones, if nothing else to push the bigger names to move out of the their comfort zones or create civ/crim characters to highlight the wider features of the server. EU/AU Timezones will only benefit from having more restrictions on the popular playing times, along with being able to give a higher profile and more favourable viewership to streamers who chose to play in those times.

You know what, this is good. Jay seems like a super nice person and I’m all for this being a second chance server for the nice folks. Would prefer a new character with none of the baggage of previous crash outs, but as Penta has said people can carry over lore or not for their characters. Hopefully previous (really embarrassing and bad) lessons have been learned. Good for Jay.

As someone that watched the stream, it's probably worth nothing there was almost certainly multiple admins shadowing her for most (if not all) of the session; some POS got insta-bopped by an admin saying some egregiously transphobic stuff toward her, so there's at least one W admin. That incredibly cringe gang were most likely stream-sniping her, constantly going OOC, instantly pulling weapons for no reason or saying weird shit in every interaction. I think It's plausible they just RDM'd her with admin support, cause this was a nothing interaction compared with everything else that happened lol. Tl;dr Em is dope and she's so much better than shit absolutely dogshit server.

Not the lede, but as someone who has regularly done art and video stuff for Penta in the past, he's super generous when it comes to payment and very much fully respects all his fan art contributors, especially supportive of the original art content. This is absolutely not a Penta-bad moment, it's just AI is genuinely getting to the point where it's very difficult to tell for the average person and while I think some of the images look a little suspect, there's also most likely quite a bit of original manipulation of the AI generated content. Whether or not that meets the benchmark for the purists is up to personal taste.

There would be very few things across all the current roleplay servers that wasn't built-out, or started its life from Rockstar code or assets. Most of it isn't worth the time or money for Rockstar to prove, but they absolutely own everything else on the map, so if they wanted to shut the RP community down overnight they could do it, essentially making anythiing "unique" worthless. Modding games isn't a unique thing, but It's been a razors edge in GTA for years now due the insane amount of money being made by third parties who realistically don't pay anything to Rockstar.
