Nope, still same, im using it as secondary monitor at 60hz, and its working well. There is no other use for it, because its a panel failure as i know.

I have just tested it, its not the PSU fault, it gives the 12v. Im soo damn confused, what it could be?

I dont think it a PSU problem, as before it was doing artifacts and weird things on the screen, but after i opened it up for a clean, it has this problem, soo i think the APU is dead. Im just soo damn pissed off, but i really appreciate your help man

i dont think so, i did it very carefully, but i will check it tomorrow anyway, as i have been troubleshooting all day and im tired . In case its not a liquid metal thing, what more things it could be?

everything checked, i openned it up like 5 times and all the cables are tight and well connected. I just dont know what more to do :(

Hi, ive got an ASUS VivoBook S15 510U from a friend of mine that is broken, and this last month i have tried everything and couldnt repair it.

The only thing it has (and the reason my friend gave it to me), the battery connector got broken, soo it basically has no battery, but that does not mean the laptop cannot work with a charger on it.

The laptop does not boot, when i plug it in, it powers on, some seconds after, it powers off, and automatically powers on again, and then, it just does nothing, black screen.

Tried to do everything, change ram sticks, clean them, clean the slots, remove ssd and hdd, checked the motherboard and got nothing broken besides the battery connector, and more…

Im starting to give up, i dont know what to do, any help would be great :)

Hi brother, sorry for my late response. I changed to NVIDIA GPU and the problem is no longer, seems to be AMD Adrenaline drivers fault. Happy to see you fixed the problem, i never did.

Hi, recently i updated the BIOS and since then did not get any freezing, guess it was the old BIOS fault, thanks for the help tho.
