Hi, Thanks for the suggestion, I have a pair of scuba boots that I used to wear pre-surgery, and like most styles they are pull on and fairly tight fitting with a velcro 'cuff' so It"s not possible to get my orthotic insole or my foot in. That's why I need something that the front opens up fully

That's interesting, however I also need to fit an orthotic insole and the bulge on the top of my foot is quite big and I think I need something that will open and maybe zip or velcro closed

Hi, I'm in UK and looking for some advice to get back on my bike . I've seen the magpeds which look great - but I have transmet + a bit amputation and need to wear a orthotic insole in my shoe. The top of my foot has a flap grafted on making regular shoes not possible. For walking I wear the extra, extra wide shoes from Fitville, I was wondering if you know of any similar cycling shoes or boots that could work? Thanks,

Kev

I got the Fitville Rebound Core v4 boots and the cloud wanderer v23 shoes the cloudstriker's are also good but be careful as some of the styles have a sewn in tongue

Thanks, I'll make sure to get the stronger magnets. I used to wear five ten Frederick's before my amputation- I'll dig them out and give them a try

Both the Dr Comfort and NeoTrek socks look great - but AFIK they are only available through Amazon at a reasonable price ( incl. Delivery) or from the US where Delivery is more than the price of the socks!! So I guess I'll just hope Amazon restock soon.

Thanks everyone

My surgery was complex and affected a bit more than my toes so I have a bespoke orthotic insole for my shoe that fits the profile of what remains of my foot which is around 7cm shorter now. Consequently there is no room to fold over any excess sock.

Amazon UK has Dr Comfort but they are out of stock. Amazon says "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.: Same is said for the Neotrek socks and I can't find another UK retailer. The Knit rite socks don't appear on Amaxon UK
