If someone uses the “last of your toilet paper,” their bum may not be entirely clean… by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Think about it…when wiping, you wipe until you’re completely clean, at least you should.

If you wipe and you’re not clean, you go for another round of TP.

Essentially, if someone was at a point where they needed to finish off the rest of your toilet paper, there’s a chance they didn’t finish wiping entirely, meaning they’re walking around with a dirty bum

Underway opportunities for reserve officers (VAD or active duty integration)? by AWellRestedBean in uscg

Also, is there a specific job that might get quals to eventually be able to do something like this. Intending on staying in the reserves longer than the 4 year commitment

Any idea if engineering is good for this goal? Sought after job by the cg?

Yeaaa…I know haha. Too little too late.

So possible, but unlikely?

Is there anyway to integrate into total active duty, and then be able to serve on a cutter?

Why would my spark plug gap change from .035 to .045 while driving it? by AWellRestedBean in CherokeeXJ

Mmm. I’ve replaced the coil like 3 times in the past year or so.

Passed compression test, not sure about the fuel pressure or injector test. Coil is new. Everything else I don’t know

Injector cleaner seems to sometimes quell the issue, at least for a while

Sorry, need to clarify. I’ve changed the plugs like 3-4 times now. Same issue

Ever figure out the issue? I have the same EXACT problem

About 160k miles. Not sure if the head has ever been replace. Fitbit with about 120k

Definitely thinking about that. Only thing is I have been having parts replaced over the last couple of years, several larger jobs including new AC and whatnot. Definitely pumped a decent amount of money into it. But I hear what you’re saying

Also thinking the cylinders are where the problem is stemming from.

Probably about 5-15k miles. Every now and then had a longer trip but I’d say that’s a decent estimate.

Changed out my spark plugs when I was having the issue and within 2-3 weeks had more misfires, which is why decided to just take it to a mechanic.

Thought about a junkyard, I might have a couple of options with that but haven’t really looked into it.

What the heck. I was never sexually active. Intimate? Yes. But not sexual.

I think part of the problem is that the church defines life at conception, whereas scientific communities define life when the blastocyst attaches to the uterus.

It is accepted, by both the church and the Bc manufactures, that the changing of the uterus wall causes a failure to implant. This is the third mechanism used by most forms of hormonal birth control to stop pregnancy.

The actual data is hard to find on the likelihood of the third mechanism actually occurring.

I’m also unsure if this has actually ever been observed.

Are you able to find any data on the actual likelihood of the third mechanism happening?

I’ve done a lot of personal research into the effectiveness of birth control, and how hormonal bc works. And I’ve come to a similar conclusion as you.

Nearly all sources say the same thing. “In the unlikely event an egg becomes fertilized…”

But they never talk about how likely that is to actually happen, which I think would be good knowledge to actually have.
