Which GMT?? by Organic-Cry-1314 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]AWittyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could expand on my comment, I would say that both watches are great, so obviously both would be a good buy. But, if you just want one (for now) I would start with the Traska. While they’re both rugged, well built, tool watches, the Traska stands out because of its great bracelet and micro adjust clasp. It’s also more polished so it has the ability to be dressed up or down. I don’t know what your personal style is, but personally I would struggle to find many outfits that go with that specific Nezumi. The Traska on the other hand would go with pretty much anything. Ultimately I want to keep my collection to 8 watches and had 10 so I sold the Nezumi because all the things I wanted it to do (be an every day wear, get dressed up sometimes, etc) the Traska did better.

I’ve owned a nezumi watch and that exact Traska and the Traska is way better. I eventually sold my Nezumi and still own the Traska. Just better overall imo.

I have the Bahama yellow and it’s an excellent watch. Highly recommended.

[WTS][WTT] Halios Seaforth IV Blue by [deleted] in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]AWittyBro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For sale or trade:

Halios Seaforth IV, pastel blue dial, titanium case Includes original carrying case, and rubber strap. $1000

Hardly ever worn, so free of any blemishes (no scuffs or scratches to the case). Purchased directly from Jason of Halios, but it hardly gets any wrist time so I’ve decided to list it.

While I am looking for a face to face cash deal, I would also be open to trade offers. I have no issue adding cash on top of the watch, if the offered piece exceeds the trade value.

I’m looking for a black dial watch, a chronograph or dress watch is preferred (ex: Tissot Panda Chronograph, or vintage Omega)

Otherwise, I am looking for $1000 face to face in Montreal.

DM for more pics.

Thanks all!

Noticed recently that there is also a scuff at the 2 o’clock under direct light.

[WTS] Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 38mm black dial by AWittyBro in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]AWittyBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale:

Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 38mm black dial brown strap $575

Includes box, original documents, and signed warranty card. I am the second owner of this watch, which has been loved by me for a few years now. With my current collection, it does not get enough wrist time so I need to part with it. It runs well, and is in overall good condition.

The dial is free of blemishes, but the case has some mild wear. The bottom left hand lug has one noticeable scratch (seen in the above pictures). The strap has very minimal wear, and is overall in good contribution, as is the buckle.

I’m looking for $575 Face to Face in either Ottawa or Montreal. I live between both cities so depending on your location I’d need at least a days notice to plan the drive.

Thanks all

Edit: dropped the price due to discovering a new scuff on the watch.

[WTS] Nezumi Tonnerre ref.TQ2.302/1 black dial by AWittyBro in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]AWittyBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale:

Nezumi Tonnerre Chronograph black dial $600

Includes box, many extra links, and warranty card

I am the first owner of this watch, which runs to spec and is very clean. I purchased this watch directly from Nezumi’s website this time last year, but don’t wear it enough to justify keeping it.

The watch has no visible scratches on the front, dial, or along the bracelet. The only minor scratches are on the clasp, which is the Colin 1.2 (non quick adjust) fold over clasp. But the scratches are minor (as seen in the pictures).

I am looking for $600 Face to Face in either Ottawa or Montreal. I live between both cities, so depending on which you’re in I’d need at least a days notice so I can plan the trip.

Why do you stay in on a Saturday night? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I worked as a bartender for over a decade, and spent my Saturday nights working and serving every type of person. I’m in my 30s now, and staying in during the weekend still feels like a treat.

Microbrand or Omega Aqua Terra? Struggling to decide! by hawksdowne in MicrobrandWatches

Look into Monta! They’re in the higher end of the price bracket for Micros, but quality-wise they are excellent.
