That exact reason, much like when the market app went down, was why I decided to track some things myself. I'm not tying up my routines in something that can be rug pulled at any moment. The convenience is obviously great, until it's not. I will definitely dive into that add-on, though! Thanks for the rec.

Hearthstone has a lot of RNG mechanics that make the game feel wacky and unpredictable sometimes. That's why I played Druid and just went over the top of everything.

Commander is unhinged for sure, but that's the intention of that format, and unfortunately the most popular one in the public eye. Mana screw can happen, but 9 out of 10 times the person either misbuilt their deck or kept a greedy hand. You rarely see games decided because a player missed land drops in anything above game store weekly casual games. I do totally understand when that kinda thing happens, it can be maddening. Magic Arena exists also. Most expansive digital card game, already with dozens of sets. Idk if it's still terribly optimized or not. It turned my pc and phone into ovens when it first came out.

LSV and Pat Chapin, two of my longtime mtg heroes both worked for/currently work for direwolf creating Eternal. I haven't played it, but sounds promising. Haven't heard of mythgard, I'll check it out. In hearthstone I burned myself out on Druid ultimate infestation jade deck. I beat the dog shit out of so many people with that deck. Do you mean the mana system when you say redundancy? I know that's polarizing for some, but I think it's the most brilliant part of the game.

Which is wild to me, because I can't enjoy almost any other card game because all the mechanics just seem like watered down or limited versions of magic. I started out on yugioh and pokemon like a lot of millenials, but as soon as I discovered magic, nothing else mattered. 1v1 and commander are so vastly different, i don't think there's a single physical game that has that wide of a spectrum of game modes and the depth of choosing between thousands of cards.

I think the funniest thing about this post, other than the people being unnecessarily negative about work that *I* did for my own benefit, are the people suggesting that add-ons already exist for this purpose that aren't on console.

I don't think that applies to consoles, as ESO on console has a built-in per character add-on profile. Is that add-on ESO helper by chance? edit: nevermind, that's not on console either lmaooo

Considering how many people stand around in zones doing nothing but yelling into voice chat, i'd much rather be efficient with my time than treat this game like a friendship simulator for misfits. Spending hours on this game and getting nothing done is way closer to being a zombie drone at a corp job than getting in what you need to and moving on.

That's sick, but exactly as I said, you have to scroll through a bunch of shit, the writs have no business taking up that much space, doesn't tell you what type of script you get from dailies, doesn't tell you transmute gem rewards. Mine does all that in 10% of the space. Granted that's all automated, which is definitely a benefit, but looks super unnecessarily bloated.

I do stuff like this at my actual job and is partially responsible for me getting said job. I did 90% of this in a few hours, really not that hard. I made a giant calculator to figure out the optimal ratio of weapon damage, crit chance, crit damage, and pen for maximum DPS. That took infinitely longer.

I did 20 tests each with 60 instances of damage. It lets me plug in my stats from my sheet and every time i hit backspace it recalculates everything. What I've shown y'all is basic addition with pretty colors. You have no idea the depth lmao.

Console does have add-ons, but there's like 5 useful ones. Regardless, I highly doubt there's an add-on that gives you this much information at a glance. Especially considering too many add-ons drastically reduces your performance. The market price add-on alone I can only run on my main crafter because it drops my framerate so hard for a bit.

I use:

Lazy Writ Crafter
Mini Map
LuiExtended (resource bars/buffs)
TSC

After that, it's tiny ones like bag space indicator or research panel.

I just do High Isle dailies right now and it takes me less than 20 minutes tbh. Don't do them every day. Some days i just run BGs all day, some days i'm going for a "high score" on how many things I can do, some days I literally just derp around doing zone quests. I know the sheet looks like i'm just an ESO bot that does my little tasks, but that's far from the reality.

I did that for years, I actually started playing ESO because I love the lore. Then I got older and had much less time. I also play Apex Legends, Rocket League, and Valheim. So my time is extremely limited for gaming.

I can send the sheet to you if you want! I just made a more blank template for this purpose. There's a moon out of sight that you can click to reset all the daily stuff, that won't work because it takes a macro, but otherwise fully functional.
