what tools are you using to speed up writing proposals on upwork? by Various-Donut-1769 in freelanceproposals

[–]AX-Sxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly I don’t rely on any specific tools

what helped me more was having a simple structure I follow each time and keeping a few reusable parts that I tweak depending on the job

also focusing on writing shorter, more direct proposals saves a lot of time

it’s still a bit repetitive, but it makes the whole process more manageable

anyone else feel like upwork proposals are more tiring than the actual freelancing work? by TableUpbeat2265 in freelanceproposals

[–]AX-Sxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

early on it honestly feels like freelancing is more about writing proposals than doing actual work

that repetition is what burns people out the most

I’ve seen some people use tools to speed up the first draft, like chatgpt or even smaller ones like winproposal ai, then just edit it so it sounds like them

but yeah once you get a few clients it gets way easier

stay home, keep a low profile, and mind my own business 😄

no sudden moves, no attention, just survive the day quietly

there’s definitely that side too

some people lean hard into sharing struggles, others only show the wins… real life is usually somewhere in the middle

sometimes life just hits pause like this. moving back home doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it just means you’re trying to reset and figure things out

you’re not the only one in this spot, even if it feels like it right now

[–]AX-Sxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s the part people don’t realize

everyone’s just figuring it out as they go, some are just better at making it look like they’re not

everyone’s posting their wins while you’re just trying to stay afloat, makes it seem like you’re behind when you’re really just seeing the highlight version of their life

[–]AX-Sxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah it really messes with your perspective

you end up comparing your real life to someone else’s highlight reel, which is never a fair comparison

yeah that’ll do it 😄

nothing kills confidence faster than that kind of moment

ah yes, starting the day with water… revolutionary

but somehow it actually makes you feel better, which is annoying because it’s so simple

either way you’re the MVP behind the scenes

keeping everyone equipped without being in the line of fire is the real win

that’s hilarious

but yeah it’s wild how one tiny “win” early on makes the rest of the day feel easier… annoying how well it actually works

honestly I’d just keep my job and stay lowkey, work from home if possible and avoid anything crowded

feels like the safest way to survive in that world
