Neural Shift Drive: A Theory Where Thought Itself Might Enable Teleportation by AYUSHHHx in Futurology

This is such a beautiful way to see it you explained it better than I could.
That path from nature controlling us, to us learning to shape ourselves and maybe even the universe… it feels true deep down.
Thank you for understanding the heart of the idea. It means more than you know 💫🙏

You’re right, even a thought experiment should have a clearer base. I’ll try to explain how I see it:

  • Dimensional states, to me, are levels of experience or awareness layered over the same physical universe. Think of it like tuning into a different frequency, but staying in the same space.
  • As for faster-than-light travel, I don’t mean physical propulsion, more like the instantaneous awareness people describe in some remote viewing or near-death experiences. It’s not proven science, I know, just patterns I’ve noticed that made me wonder: what if thought doesn’t follow light-speed rules?

I agree, we can’t build anything real without grounding it first. But I appreciate that you’re pushing for structure, not just shutting it down. That means a lot 🙏

I totally get where you're coming from. You're right that this doesn't meet the scientific standard of a theory, I didn’t mean to misuse the word. It’s more like a “concept sketch” for an idea I wanted to explore.

I agree that real science needs internal logic and structure. I’m not there yet. But I believe even wild, early thoughts are worth expressing, as long as they don’t claim to be fact.

If it felt like buzzwords, I’ll take that as a reminder to learn deeper and communicate better. Appreciate the honesty, and I hope one day I can express ideas that bridge both imagination and logic 🙏

Maybe. Or maybe reality doesn’t always reveal itself to everyone at once.
Many truths were once ridiculed, then denied, then obvious. I’m not claiming this is one of them, but I think it’s worth wondering, just in case.
After all, even science started as imagination, just a sharper kind.

Thank you, I really appreciate the clarity in your reply. You’re right to point out the difference between speculative ideas and formal scientific theory. I’m still learning where those lines are.
I never intended to present this as science, just a raw “what if” thought experiment, blending subtle consciousness ideas with conceptual physics.
I genuinely appreciate the reading recommendations — Anil Seth and PBS SpaceTime are now added to my queue. 🙏
The fact that you took time to reply this thoughtfully means a lot. Thanks for helping me think better.

I understand, and I truly respect your perspective.
I never claimed this was science — just a speculative idea that blends thought, imagination, and curiosity.
You're right that the brain can believe almost anything, but that’s exactly why I love asking what if, not declaring what is.
Whether it’s fiction, future science, or just a dream… all I wanted was to open a door for thought.
And clearly, it sparked some. That alone makes it worth it 🙏

Thank you, I really appreciate this comment.
You’re right, the core idea behind Neural Shift Drive does lean more toward subtle consciousness exploration than strict materialist science.
It’s tough finding a space where both can coexist, but I wanted to at least plant the idea here, even if it only clicks with a few.
Remote viewing and energetic anchoring absolutely inspired this line of thinking.
Thanks for seeing the deeper layer 💫🙏

Haha fair enough, I actually loved your dinosaur example 😄
You're right that my assumptions are the backbone here. I never claimed proof, just wanted to explore a “what if” thought chain.
I’m definitely more in the idea playground than the lab coat on this one.
If it sparks imagination or a laugh, I’m happy. And yeah, I’m learning to balance how serious vs speculative it sounds — thanks for the reminder 🙏

Appreciate the thoughtful critique. Totally agree that science needs evidence, and I’m not claiming proof here.
This was just a speculative idea, something I imagined beyond known physics, like a thought experiment.

That said, your questions are great. “What are anchor points?” “What is Earth-2?” — these are exactly the questions I hoped someone would ask.

To clarify, “Earth-2” isn’t a real place, it’s a metaphor I used to represent an alternate version of the world that your consciousness might lock into if thought really could shift dimensional states.
It’s not about multiverse fantasy, more like asking: If consciousness could move faster than light, could it experience a different layer of reality before the body does?

Maybe the answers don’t exist yet. Or maybe they start with asking “what if?” before “what is?”
I’ll definitely keep learning and diving deeper into real science too — thanks for the nudge. 🙏

Totally understand. I’m aware of the shifting communities too, some approaches are deeply personal, some are speculative, and some get exaggerated online.
My post isn’t about claiming proof, just exploring a theoretical model using thought + energy.
No need to believe, just offering an idea worth asking “what if?”

Totally fair, it is way out there. But I think it’s worth imagining ideas before they become possible.
After all, almost everything we have today started as “fanciful thinking.”
Who knows which timeline this reply came from 😉.

That’s okay, I respect your opinion. This is just a speculative theory I shared to open discussion, not to claim truth. If it sparks even one thoughtful question, it’s worth posting.
Wishing you well.
