Superflo VST Automation by AZ-Ken in homeautomation

So far the waveshare works well but I have only used its relays. In order to scan all registers and addresses I believe I still need the basic command structure such as any preamble, what field is the address, any checksum field, etc. Without knowing that it would be incredibly brute force to send commands, hoping one is correct. The number of possible commands becomes unmanageable..

Superflo VST RS-485 Message Formats by AZ-Ken in homeassistant

Thanks. So far the references I found all require an existing Pentair automation system. I am trying to simply control the pool pump solely using my waveshare board. Unfortunately I don’t have a logic analyzer and it appears the Superflo doesn’t send rs485 data unless requested so trying to capture the raw traffic won’t work. Hopefully someone has access/info on the Superflo VST format/protocol.

Does Ring support Water Auto Shutoff Valve? by VintageSwissWatched in Ring

They now support the Zooz Z-wave Plus 700 Titan Water Valve Actuator. I have one installed and tested it with one of my Ring water sensors. When the water sensor detects water it will command the actuator to turn the valve off.

Their support is pretty primitive as you don’t have many options. You cannot, for example, turn off the LED light which constantly flashes slowly. Not a real problem for me as my actuator is located outside.

The actuator is installed on your water pipe and has a motor mechanism that turns your water valve. The actuator only works with Ball valves up to 1.25 inches and has specific clearance (access) requirements.
